EU+US Everything Wrong With The PTR Transmog System

Currently we're not going to be able to Transmog any other armor type than our Main one. (Druid can only Transmog Leather, Priest can only Transmog Cloth, Warrior can only Transmog Plate and so on)

This is really frustrating for lower levels and especially Twinks as BiS is extremely often not our main armor type.

Also, we can't currently hide our Cloak or Head unless it's our main armor type. This is a huge problem aswell since the BiS Head item for all Twinks will be an item without an Armor type. [item="87213" /]

Yeah, I was quite disappointed about this as well and I hope it's changed.

Also, items not of your armor type that are transmogged will be grandfathered by the looks of it.

Oh and there's no such thing as BIS anymore since everyone scales the same in PvP?

Yeah was going to bump that thread but you might want to take Mist Goggles out of it before Blizz nerfs those too into something you can't equip at all. Making Blizzard aware of items we Twinks use for "BiS" usually isn't the best idea because it often gets those things nerfed. I agree 100% that it sucks we can only mog our Armor type in Legion, but then again the entire system is still shit compared to most MMO's today that give you complete freedom for appearances.

You haven't been following this site in the past few months then. There certainly is a BiS list for each bracket and it does in fact matter in BG's because of HOW iLvL scaling works come Legion.

I have been. I've done arenas on PTR and I messed around with changing gear and I wasn't able to identify any huge differences. Although, this was with gear I had; not wearing dumb sht like the rock ring.

Confirmed with friends I did arenas with that it was only working only sometimes since the PTR is buggy, which is what caused my confusion. I did notice once that when I changed from BoA shield to Arctic it increased my intellect by 1 and didn't for the rest of the games we played.

Whether or not high iLvL White Gear is dumb is moot, if the system works the way Blizz is telling us it WILL be BiS until Blizz decides to discount all White Gear towards scaling. Also bear in mind that Blizz said that they feel 0.1% per average iLvL is too low but they wanted to start low so they could boost it instead of starting high and nerfing it later. This means that those 'dumb' White items become even more valuable later on if they boost it from 0.1% to 0.2% or even higher.
