European F2P Players @ US - Quick help.

When you're switching from EU to US and it's forcing you to d/l a patch, go to your wow folder and open wow using wow.exe and not the launcher. You should be fine then.

Even though we are F2P accounts...
WoW Service will still attempt to help if you ask nicely.
GM tickets work in game too.

This is true, meaning you will be able to play the game instantly.
However WoW will download that 1.1GB patch in background anyway (after ~22 hours of playing on Aerie peak that download is nearly finished for me)

I have an Problem as an EU-Player (Germany) to play on US. F2P

I did all the realmlist etc. I leveld til 20 for 2 days. Today after tryn to log in I got an "ban" email.Battle.net account locked - action required.
Suspicious activity on the Battle.net account XXXX@yahoo.com, this had to be locked. To restore access to this account, please perform the following steps:


does it have to do with the fact that when I set U.S @BNet Acc. and I connect access from a German IP? Does some1 have any experiences?

I thought I have to set up a new BNET Acc to US, otherwise I guess Im not able to play on US. any suggestions?

It should be fixed once you have reset your pw. Blizzard now "knowes" you're accessing this account on US servers from Germany. It was flagged as suspicious bc you probably never did so before.
