EU 39 Scene

Hi,
I'm interested in making a lv 39 twink. I am Eu based and after some info on the bracked from other players. I was wondering what are que times like for each faction and if there is an imbalance in the amount of twinks on either factions side. I understand that a lv 39 twink realistically requires 1k+ gold sinking into it and fair bit of time and patience leveling and grinding so i would want to know it is worthwhile doing before going through with it. I would be reluctant to make one if there are massive que times and boring games where im gettin stomped by a group of other twinks or we are constantly steam rolling 3-0 wins in 12 minutes game after game. The BOE gear i have is on a pve realm and i may be willing to transfer to another if there are any guilds active in the bracket

Thanks X

As horde you have 5-10 min queues usually, as ally im guessing it's instant or sub 5 min often. Horde has more twinks than ally and in my experience win way more games than ally but it's not extremely unbalanced faction wise. Problem is that most established ally twink guilds outside of BROKEN on firemaw are not much better than pugs.

Hey there, this:

As horde you have 5-10 min queues usually, as ally im guessing it's instant or sub 5 min often. Horde has more twinks than ally and in my experience win way more games than ally but it's not extremely unbalanced faction wise.

As for this: "boring games where im gettin stomped by a group of other twinks or we are constantly steam rolling 3-0 wins"
There is fun to be had without winning wsg, but early on you need the rep for gear etc and then it can be frustrating to lose. From my experience:
You might enjoy horde more if you PUG before say.. 1500 (just to have a time). However if you Group With 1-2 before that time you might enjoy alliance more.

If you 2-3 man Queue before that as horde it gets too easy, while you (statistically) have a extremely high chance of losing as alliance pug twink at this time. (I base this off my own experience doing early pugs as horde, and alliance friends complaning about PUGing With retards).
Later then that and alliance start showing up with their twinks, its like the randoms got sick of losing and quit, while the twinks got wins and kept playing (or just logged on:p). Its not like this every day/game, but generally there is a switch and it becomes more competitive.

Check out Mograine if you are going horde, its a very good bracket and AB is right around the corner:)

We are looking for a couple of 39's on Alliance for a regular 5 man group

We are trying to get a regular 5 man group together for AB when it releases, on Ashbringer Alliance. Currently 4 of us, 2 already geared and spamming WSG.

I'm still still leveling ( only recruited at the weekend ), along with the GM who managed to level his Priest to 40 accidentally .....

Why not create a level 1 Alliance 'toon on Ashbringer and have a chat to discuss what we're up to, see if you're interested or not. Unfortunately we are a small guild and only have very limited funding.

Yinx#2857 if you wanna chat to someone from Aygat, Morgraine. I play the Shaman named Bamm.

We have a lot of support here for horde side. From gold, items, boosts and a huge community of players.

Happy to chat

How competitive are the games ? From what I hear Horde twinks out number Ally, if that's the case wouldn't it be better to even things up a bit to get better games? or should I say F' it and just go Horde on Morgraine where my main and cash are.

One thing that kills brackets is domination by one side - the dominant side has huge queues - players lose interest. The weaker side players stop queuing. Seen it before across multiple brackets ...

If your main and cash srsly is on mograine then stay there, our goal is to allways have 1-2 other ppl you can queue with, not to 10 man. Alliance has many twinks in the evening.

We have quite a few incoming 39 twinks on Pyrewood/Ally, I think there's about ~10 of us either made or nearly made that are decent players. Ally twinks definitely come out more often at night as Medan said above.
