enhancement and me!

Apparently enh does great damage while rooted, I stand corrected.

I heard there's no LoS in WSG, especially in base.

Any good shaman would shear the roots.

Edit: Im not saying the damage isnt fine, im saying its better on D, and that enhance is better on O because of burst.

I was unaware that CoC, nova, and pet nova had cast times. What more wisdom do you hold oh great master?

Also, enh burst is negated by conc shot, frost bolt, any slow really. Shears and purges are the only reason you'd bring a shaman on O, ele happens to bring more utility and is less effected by kiting Ds than enh.

You would skip my comment.

Ele is effected by LoS, enh is effected by LoS as well. Enh is also more effected by slows and snares and has a harder time against a D with a mage and/or hunter in it (most defenses have at least one of those classes). Ele also brings thunderpunt, if I felt that a shaman was neccessary for my O then I would always choose ele over enh. The shaman is not there for the damage because both specs have their damage shut down too easily, enh moreso than ele.

I can't reply to this. You can't be serious right now.

Ok, if you're running a premade why would you bring a shaman?

Purge, Totem, Wind Shear, potential damage.

I understand your point of view, but it's just that overall, if an enh shammy can get some heal up, it's extremely solid. On an Offense build, you'll have healers with your group. I understand about roots matter, but you know, if the druid root you in the way to roof and LoS you with the roof, either way you're totally useless.

Also, I'd rather be able to do massive damage in melee then not be able. I mean, any good players will pass their time fucking up your LB if your ele. Rogue will laught their ass at an ele

The damage is incidental, enh damage is nothing to write home about and is easily avoided. Ele damage isn't great either, but a kited ele will do a lot more than a kited enh. Also remember that enh can only purge so many times before they have to actually be hitting something to get mana back, not too likely with a D mage around. You could say that the enh should just stack int then, but then their damage would be even more pathetic.

niini can do ridic burst as ele hit him up for tips

Sure because when your getting kited your so gonna start casting LB instead of runing up to him. With enhance you can GF, run up to him faster then ele and slow him with earthbind, immediatly burst him. Shock damage should be around same because a enhance shaman should have a aurastone in his pack always.

yh omg dont get me started on resto shamans omg.

Hey there, first off I give you a + because of considering to play a shaman :).

So.. I started playing mine enhanc twink before 3months and I must say that enhancement shamans aren't the class that has much survivebility in the lvl 19 twinking bracket because "healing wave" is nothing but crap and you will rarely use it, we can be kited by ranged classes if we don't menage to get next to them and drop earthbind totem and if we are fighting other melee classes we aren't the ones that can put out high crits like paladins / warriors can..

BUT! We are AWESOME againts healers because of PURGE with which you can purge priests absorb spell, their buffs, healing over time spells, hand of protection and others and we got a 6 sec cd interrupt spell! You maybe can't do the crits warriors and paladins can, but you can kite them around, simply put searing totem + earthbind totem down , flame shock them and run around them while laughing how they are trying to get you :). You won't see any crits over 400 but that's because we got many spells that are dealing lower dmg and when you put them together, you are actually doing good dps ( flame shock dot, lightning shield, searing totem + lava lash, primal strike, earth shock ).. Just stick with the group, go after the healers, avoid huntards and you will have much fun ;D
