Engineering?

Have seen people talk about engineering, but have no idea of what it brink to the table at the lvl 19 bracket. Why is it worth taking it over herb/mining/skinning?

Engi helm is a good temp hat until you get LFH or Guild BoA hat.



Bombs. Are. Awesome. extra stun, extra damage, extra fun.

Shadow goggles, Green tinted goggle, and bombs are the main reasons. If you have LFH you may want to dump engineering for another profession but some people still keep it for the bombs.

Bombs for an extra stun. Exploding Sheep. Goggles if you can't get LFH or the new BoA helm in Cataclysm. Gnomes can use Discombobulator Ray which might become a bigger deal now that some specs have lost their abilities to close distance.

And gnomes can also use Portable Bronze Mortar - Item - World of Warcraft Goblin Jumper Cables - Spell - World of Warcraft which no other class can .
