Emil's Brand?

Although the dps on the weapon is higher, the boa axe has a higher topend damage which most arms warrior and ret pally abilities rely on.
What if I put +15 strength on the Emil's brand and when the Crusader on the Axe proced i hit a macro that switched to emil's brand with 15 strength

Pretty sure you lose the proc when you swap weapons. That is how it works with trinkets anyway

You keep the buff, but the fact is Emil's is not BiS for anything other than looks. It's too fast. 2xBoA axes with crusader and 15 strength would still be better. That said, when you switch weapons, you initiate a GCD, so most pople don't bother. If you time it right, and it can be macroed to switch just after you use an ability, you might not lose much, but like I said, more trouble than it's worth for most people.

This is not true, we have managed to stack 4 crusaders with Critrage for some hefty AP boost (800). You can have as much weapons with Crusader as you want, and switch em to stack more crusader procs -> more AP. It isn't too easy to stack multiple crusas though, but when it happens, you will crit shitloads :p

I stacked some crusaders on a lvl 1 war and swapped to counterweight and haste gloves it was rofl city i wish it had been a troll with lb that would have made me so happy

When hunters could melee, i used emil's with unholy for my RofL wingclip macro.

Emil's Brand is worth using on an Arms Warrior or Ret Paladin if you have frost oil applied for the chance to cast frostbolt (slow). This gives you a way to sometimes stay with your target which is nice, your dps is higher then with BAR, and honestly the crits arent that much lower.

yes, this is what i was referring to, using this for a slowing weapon with frost oil on it.

Umm .. Well How the Hell you guys put Frost oil in the EB?
It Says Requires Level 30.
And the Frost oil is red to me ?
So light me up and Tell me how you did manage add Frost oil in it?

Put it in a trade window and have a high-level apply it. I don't think this has been fixed yet.

Shadow oil works as well. This has always been like this. Apply with a higher lvl alt in trade window. This is an extra proc from a select few high item lvl weapons.
