Is an ele shaman not a counter class to a disc priest?

Not really, ele burst is pretty nuts, 500+ on lb's, plus thunderstorm for interuppts, and windshear, and no bubbles.

I mean if a priest plays it right they will win, but a Ele shaman should win in the end imo.

if you get in range for thunderstorm then priest is in range to fear you, windshear is like 2 sec lockout and you can always bubble his lightningbolt making him forced to waste 2 globals to get rid of shield

Priests are nasty in duels, ele shamans are good enough to beat most classes, but a priest should probably beat an ele.

I agree, i feel like if a ele shammy plays it right though they can get a priest.

Im only making this because i beat my friend who is an ele shaman numerous times(not DA), and all im saying is its a counter class imo.

if the ele shaman plays it right and the disc priest plays it wrong then yes an ele can beat a disc but if we are assuming that then a rogue 'can win' vs balance druid too

it is the closest to a counter you can find but it doesnt counter priest hard enough to win a 1v1

This thread makes no sence. So they have a purge and an interrupt, by your logic they would be a hard counter to every healer.

I went 5-0 against eliot.

But im still saying that ele is a counter to priests, it all just depends rly.

But yeah................

Bakked was able to beat me almost every time because I went OOM. Priests don't OOM, if they did he would have lost every duel. It's extremely close duels, if he was any race besides night elf I would have won as well.

I'd say ele may actually win vs a non night elf.

They were close duels, i also had Bam as witness to the duels in dalaran.

It does prove that priest burst is a bit to much for ele's to handle, they were close duels though.

I dont think you can say that you would beat me everytime if i wasnt night elf though lol...

But meh, good duels all good fun!
