Edit: Im getting pissed at Blizzard for not answering my tickets helpfully. For some reason I can't hold alt as a self cast modifier and push 1-4 on my keyboard. Its like they arent physically being pressed. They keep saying I need to bind alt+1, alt+2, alt+3, etc... but no I dont...

I have the exact same problem. I try to bind my alt-key modifiers to the f1, f2, etc. It works fine, but every time I try to keybind alt+f4 my wow crashes or something. And it doesnt even save my keybinds
