Easy way to level skinning/leatherworking

I tried to search from forums for similar information, but did not spot it. So I thought to share my discovery with others.



I found out that nice place to farm light leather non stop is in maclure vineyards in elwynn forest. Boars are needed for one of the alliance quests and therefore spawn rate is really fast.

Wailing Caverns is another good one....unless you're the tank. Then everyone gets pissed that you're skinning everything and slowing the whole run down.

As priest you can just bubble tank and skin em. I think I saw similar effect with earthshielded tank. I would say WC is good place to continue to get those mediums faster. Personally I farmed bears/foxes in Loch Modan also mats for some +4 food.

For the higher Skinning levels and Medium Leather/quick Light Leather, I found these two spots working well:



- Horde: Silverpine Forest, the crokolisks in the marsh beneath the bridge to Gilneas



- Alliance: Darkshore, the bears near the Grove of the Ancients near the corrupted lake.



Both feature high spawnrates and a nearby FP & vendor.

In the north of the Redridge Mountains (at the female orc warlock if you know the Bravo Company-questline) there are 3 to 4 boars walking around. If you kill these another will immediatly respawn in one of three spawnlocations (within viewing distance of eachother). You need a skinning level of 50 to skin all levels of boar (where the Elwyn spots come in). As a nice extra they drop quite a lot of nice cooking-items (should get you to a little under yhe 100-level in cooking). If the four guys from the Bravo Company are still following you can simply tag the boar and collect the spoils.

The medium leather drop rates aren't that great though, i would look out/in-side of the Wailing Caverns for those.
