Dps Priest

Well searching around the forums I havent seen anything on the subject. I use to be pretty active in bgs and such then just stopped playing my twinks in as a whole for a while. Logged back onto my twink and thought I would do a BG, it was pretty fun. saw alot of new faces and some old. as I was watching the scoreboard I noticed on the top of damage was a priest. after a little bit I came across the priest and it was a Disc Priest, and the question that pops into my head, is Disc now a dps spec? or was this person just fooling around. Sorry for the wall of text I dont like to just ask questions with out explaining what brought about the question.



With that being asked if they are more dps than healers now Can anyone link a good armory I wouldnt mind trying it out on my priest aswell.

I do not believe disc is a dps spec for priests. However; I will admit it does have the potential even though.... Holy is much more viable for dps and healing. I've seen Holy priests go toe to toe and win against a hunter... with that in mind.. this is a fairly nice priest setup. and so is this one

Overral at the moment, disc does more damage then shadow byfar. Penance does some mean damage, and I believe currently shadow got a 10% nerf to shadow damaging spells.



But to answer your main question, disc is leaning more towards DPS then healing, but you can still heal with it. Holy is more for healing anywho.

Disc does plenty of damage but is (obviously) more useful as heals in your typical pug. Dueling them certianly hurts.

disc priests can put out some mean damage while having high survivability, i say disc is the most fun priest spec and they are so dope to play
