Douchebags.

Perhaps he thought you were trying to throw the game, if what the man does is give criticism what is he too think when someone just goes all in?

So because he thought something, that was obviously wrong, I have to get punished for it? How would you like it if it were you? To get kicked from a bg for overextending? (No I didn't get kicked, but it's what he wanted to happen and was trying to make happen).

Well it sounds like you were trying all night and then just went mongo and cancers had probably been watching you play during that time. Going mongo is different from over extending . I wasn't there and I think afk should only be used in extreme cases, I would be upset and learn from the experience, but be understanding that cancer is only human and essentially acting as a player and a coach simultaneously.

Once again, the call was not PRIVATE. The call was streamed for everyone to hear and be a part of. It's not that I can't handle it, it's just ignorant and a douche thing. and it's not just him. It's a number of people in the bracket, pizza included, that just bash on people in pugs like a bunch of highschoolers.
Again, no one forces you to listen to anything they say. You are basically doing the equivalent of walking up to a group of people, listening to their conversation and then complaining about it. They weren't talking about you in a public place where you could walk by and accidentally listen in, to listen to them you had to actively search for Pizza's stream.

Outside of that you are spreading a bunch of lies about what actually happened. Kancer called you atrocious 5 minutes before the game ended, nothing else. You were the person giving him shit through ingame chat in return. There were no constant /afk requests or insults. He called you bad, once, and now you are trying to get back at him.

Grow the fuck up.

That's true I suppose. Just pissed me off that it went down that way.

You know I think the criticism that people are speaking on is really valuable, guys this is 19s we've always been a little roudy, I KNOW that pizza has been going out of his way to be a role model in the best way he knows how, and cancers advise can help even seasoned players improved, they are both passionate twinks and sometimes in the heat of battle a passionate twink says something mean, I think it's the nature of the beast in a lot of way, this is the internet afterall, and we all know cancer will insult you one minute, then give you advise another. What he does on pizzas stream is something I think is highly valuable to any twink and in the end they should both be thanked for their service.

I am going pick on you once Conq. Don't take it personal.
You justify their actions for a few reasons. ( my rebuttals later)
1) it is 19's- we have been doing it a long time
2) Pizza has been trying be good role model
3) Kancer.. Is passionate
4) it is the Internet

My rebuttals
1) sure that is how 19's on TI act. But, not everyone that will view this even knows about TI. Very few people do.
2) I guess he has been holding up that end of the bargain. Did that player get /AFKed? I guess not he did not say he did. Who am I to judge him anyways, right?
3) Sure, we can all be "passionate". But let's get real, it is a freaking video game. And at the end of the day when you log out, that win or loss means absolutely NOTHING, for the most part. In addition, having lots of experience in one small teensy weensy facet of a video game does not give a reason for someone to be a jackass in real life. There many great players out there that never even offer any advice unless asked.
4) Yep, it is the Internet. That means it will be out there for ALL to see. Even your Mother or a future employer if they choose. Just take that into consideration when you post something on the Internet.

Cancer is a player and a coach who cares about the quality of games and isn't perfect I don't think we needed a post to declare this.

It was a public conversation. The Internet is public. His stream is advertised. The conversation was in no way "private" at all. It was as if they were talking on a stage in front of a crowd.
No searching required.http://www.twinkinfo.com/forums/f12/pizza-streaming-wsg-pugs-49236/
Five minutes is 25% of the game.
What you are suggesting is that someone should not defend themselves from someone talking bad about them now?

Settle down hoss...

So. What's the deal with all of the toxicity at 19? I'm tired of watching a stream and being in a game and hearing people running their little dicksuckers *cough* Kancer *cough*. I'm playing 19's for fun. I've picked up new items and I'm in here testing my classes limits and damage so I know how much i can do and when. I don't wanna hear "this guy is fucking atrocious" all game long. I play for fun, unlike you I'm not taking level 19 pugs stupid serious. I don't expect to win every game, but I do expect to go into a gulch and have a good time. If you want seriousness why not run wargames. Until then. Fuck off.

[Edit] I'm new to the 19 scene anyway, if you have advice, then give it. Don't berate everyone because they haven't been playing 19s for years. Prick.

If you ever play games you will notice that Pizza doesn't win games without Kancer - it is more the other way around.

Oh, on that we can agree. Probably all of us.
But, where would TI be without drama and "best of" threads? It would be just like any other WoW site out there. Those are what makes this site unique!

To be fair, I don't think Kancer was very serious about reporting you afk. I don't remember the game very well, but I think he said it once out of frustration after you opened on the EFC by yourself at around 6 stacks and then Pizza opened on him for like 3k and they just barely missed the kill.

And he didn't roast you too bad. It was relatively brief. He can be much more loquacious and detailed in his complaints, trust me. It sort of bummed me out at first hearing them whenever they were directed at me, but now I just recognize it as the passion that he has for good wsg play and slim tolerance for bad play.

I've known and played alongside both Pizza and Kancer for quite a long time.

It's honestly just their character.

Both Pizza and Kancer are highly passionate for the prosperity of the bracket.

Kancer has been well known for his potty mouth and blatant criticism and most recently Pizza has been noted for it as well since he began streaming.

They do not have a filter, they both posses that 'leadership' quality; they are simply very outspoken and candid individuals.

If you don't want to hear it, then you can choose not to watch his stream.

You have to take what they say as constructive criticism. They both mean well.

If you want either of them to elaborate on their opinions they expressed on stream, simply ask them in game; they don't bite.

These two individuals aren't reticent, I believe that they would explain their reasoning behind what they said if you went about asking them in a pleasant manner.

Unfortunately, you can't expect everybody to be kind in such a competitive bracket and you can't go around thinking you're playing perfect acting like there is no room to improve yourself. The ability to absorb constructive criticism is really important in shaping yourself as a player and as an individual.

I'll agree that their word choice of their initial remarks are a bit distressing, but I promise you, if you want it; they will supply you with great feedback if you are willing to listen.

It's really important to be able to distinguish between valid criticism and remarks where the main intent is to be hurtful and personal.

I love when Daddy Kancer chokes and abuses me.

I'd love to have advice and tips from the people who have been around. But like I told the rest of the people that said to take it as constructive criticism, there was nothing constructive about it, which is what annoyed me. He simply said "mudkipz is atrocious report him afk" If they'd like to point out what I did wrong so be it. Eurys I know it wasn't a long drawn out thing, but it's not just me i was complaining about. It's every game, every pug. It just gets old quick. If you wanna bitch about people doing things wrong, then teach them. And yeah I opened alone, nobody else was pushing up, and I got impatient.

I see people already replying to you with what i was going to say, but i would also like to add that there are different types of people. Some people give sugar coated tips (which are still helpful) and then people who are brutally honest and straight forward (which may come out mean). Then there are people who can take the honesty, and then people who get offended. Neither is wrong its just the human race has different types of people. When Kancer is being a "dick" he is only giving his opinion on that exact moment. 5min later you can make a play and he will say you are brilliant. Kancer and Pizza give brutally honest tips and thats their stream style. Some love it, some dont. If you want to watch a stream for the entertainment purpose there are many other streamers =)
