eh, wowheads scaling models are pretty fucked. I wouldnt take it as 100%in-game pics would be nice, but here is how it should scale.

The reason WoWHead doesnt have it right, is because even blizzard employees dont know how scaling for each individual item works. There is obviously some equation that works scaling for each item. You can ask Blizzard loot customer support and theyll tell you themselves. Its not that they arent allowed to tell you, they just straight up dont know.

Ya know I don't like this scaling bull---- as much as the next person but here is an interesting few images for the reader. I didn't mean to offend if I did btw.

This item was given to every fury warrior regardless of level and it scaled to level.
People are disregarding the scale system very harshly... But with the axe on my 20 and wowhead saying the same stats.
Some of you need to gain hope
As far as I care or know; wowhead scale stats are legit. This is one example of it. @Chops

Wowhead shows alot of gear (especially single or limited source gear) as scaling despite it not actually being able to. Mystic Sarong and Saber Leggings immediately come to mind. It also shows lots of things on mob loot tables that no longer exist on those tables. The Oozing bag that drops the pet no longer drops off Silty Oozelings in the Wetlands for instance.
But hey. I was just trying to point out that alot of gear doesnt scale exactly how wowhead says it will. But they got your axe right so I guess Im an idiot.

I still have level 1 alts with the greataxe of fury in their mailbox. Although, im very curious to see if some patch will make them super strong and scale higher one day if it stays in the mail. Because the mail doesn't get deleted as long as u don't log on the toon.

It will show the correct stats but you would need to put the item level you want correct not the req level to get correct stats.
