Does anyone remember that thread that was created on the forums about fixing, changing and balancing lower level battlegrounds?

Everyone needs to try and post on the forum and get your ideas viewed. Blizzard has not put a single Blue post on the matter and frankly it pisses me along with others off. :mad:



I don't know if there is any other way to get this problem solved but the forums and submitting tickets are clearly not working.

Blizzard is ignoring a large chunk of its customers and it is pathetic.



I want to see non flavor of the month classes to come out of hiding and play there

twinks again. (Warlock, Warriors, Shamans:( )

I want to see damage reduced and scaled in many of the classes.

I want to see healing reduced and scaled to be equal.



Tell me what you want to see on that forum thread.



If we all try we can get it done :)

no they dont care. do they have a proram that trax dammage in bgs, what would the hunters dammage be compared to all other classes. i posted back in 2009 that this was a problem. 2 years and they just look the other way. how many twinks quit wow in the last 2 years? oh ya lets make the twinks hop on there main if they want the damm helm. boa's should of never been bis. they ruined all the brackets. and blizz rolls on........
 
Blizzard really doesn't give a flying shit. The reality is that their priority is pleasing the majority of players. Falling subs means that currently they frantically work on end game stuff and pretty much ignore everything else.
 
in games tonite i have seen warriors and warlocks. class i see the least of is shamans - any spec. res-druids are rare, because they aren't the LOL-OP you can't kill me class anymore. that has moved to priests. majority of the druids you see now roll feral and as we know that spec wasn't viable in 19 for the first 6 years of WOW



every class has it's day, at the start of WOTLK being able to point in 3 talent trees, insta GW glyphs, slowing EBT, and duel wield turned shamans into monsters. even in enhance they had near unstoppible heals and could blow up rogues, hunters, warriors with ease. during that time rogues were benched in huge numbers. prior to wotlk it wasn't uncommon to see as many shamans as you see hunters now.



it all goes in cycles, now my shaman is benched....i roll a f-druid, hunter or rogue.



after seeing what priests can do now, is what has me thinking about rolling one. imo....the most OP class in 19, with H-pal's tightly in tow.
 
damage isn't a good indicator of what is really happening. hunters are able to throw alot of arrows....alot of it is absorbed or negated thru heals.



i was in a 70 arena once, my rogue had 11K health i went up against a disc priest (last 2 left standing) i lost. at the end it showed i had done 24K damage against the priest. the priest showed 11k damage and 12k healing. problem here is bubble classes including mages slip under the radar because blizz does not showed damage negated/absorbed/etc. however if blizzard is just looking at DPS #'s (which i hope they know better) you get unjustified nerfs.



this translates into 19's. a hunter will face a priest who can bubble up to 4-6 times in a fight. the heals the priest does shows on BG stats, and the shots that are negated ring up fast causing what appears to be insane damage, yet most of the time unless you have AGM, gift of naruu, health potion or lifeblood CDs up....a priest will drop a hunter and not really show they did alot of damage.



hunters in 19 at times damage farm, they go after the H-pal that holy shocks over & over and the priest that they really won't be able to kill unless others are on them too. this imo, causes skewed hi damage numbers.
 
I have come to the conclusion that they couldn't care less. Their lack of any blue post or any balancing technique suggests that to them low levels are just a means to an end, ie leveling to endgame.

But wouldn't you atleast wanna see a Blue post stating they can't do anything about it? Instead of ignoring.

you can name good hunters, pallies, priests and rogues.

Good luck finding/naming: resto (anything) shamans, resto druids, and warlocks.... I only know a few warriors:/
 
Sanker not everyclass had its day. yes warriors had the 6 weeks when we had enti sword but i think locks never had a day of being op. 6 damm weeks of being op_ hunters 2 years and rogues had 3years
 
never said OP....but had it's day. warriors and the enti sword was a temp issue and it took way more than 6 weeks to get blizz to deal with that sword.



starting in wotlk warriors did real well up to cata. they could destroy rogues with ease and if the got a charge on a hunter (which did not have disengage then) between hamstring, thunderclap, and a glyph that chance locked you inplace they had their day for a long time. many rogues in wotlk benched them and rerolled into warriors or e-shams. when it came to flag returns....warriors were hell on wheels. comments were made in BG chats like: "guess warriors are the new rogues"



locks in wotlk did hella well too, between gaining a bubble without having to sacrifice pet along with glyphs along with fears could rope a dope rogues, hunters, warriors, even paladins. i haven't been posting on this forum along time. but back in 2009 drayner (warlock) was QQing about the hunters being OP in a blog, yet he had them all out damaged, out HK'd, out KB'd, flag returns on a screenshot he posted. they even devastated the team that had the most hunters. i had to speak up on that fail misdirected blog.



i can't remember the names of the locks.....but there was a set of 3 that would premade in 2009 after wotlk, between the timing of multiple fears, having sacrifice bubbles, etc, could just nearly mow the other team down themselves.



for those who forget, as dodge got nerfed hunters each time became more powerful compared to rogues. by 2007 up until wotlk hunters were king then. only rogues with naxx/za head and shoulder enchants, outland trinkets not nerfed yet were able to deal with them.

- dodge used to work against spells, ranged, and melee. was nerfed to only work against melee

- 12 dodge used to give 12% dodge. was nerfed to 5%.... then nerfed again to 2.5...supposedly was cut to 1.25% before the AGM was changed

- dodge was nerfed again to have diminishing returns

- last nerf in 2009 reduced dodge given by agility by 15%
 
well if you say hunters damage is pumped up because they have to deal with priests or pallys their dammage would still be comprable to everyone in the bg because the other classes would aslo be dealing with priests and pallies. they are not even close to the other classes. first 3 years of wow rogues where op and hunters the last 2.5. i always found locks squishy and cant recall any great ones. i think the differance could be in the fact that we had more stam back than and the time in battle with hunters and locks would of lasted a bit longer on my warrior giving me the time to close in.
 
I think they do care, but it's towards the end of their list. There's plenty of other things that they find more important that they want to finish before they spend any time on balancing low levels.

this, but its not so much about "what they care about" and more about "what they're forced to care about". if 98% of your playerbase is endgame, of course you want to fix endgame before all the other problems.. this is also, why some people have been complaining about "feeling like they're forced towards endgame" on the official forums. blizzard want as many players as possible, to be doing the same thing, because:

it gives them less different tasks to focus on.

they spend so much energy on endgame, because wow is supposed to feel like a "heroic journey" (quote), where, the further you progress, the more 'epic' your experience gets..

Since Kore even admits blizzard cares shit about us, why are we going to a more *Blizzard friendly* site?
 
I actually enjoy the burstyness of the bracket. Where I run into problems is not hunter damage but the fact that hunters get pretty much every single pvp ability worth mentioning which gives them insane survivability compared to everyone else. (EDIT: yes a paladin is complaining about another class' survivability -lol) I don't think you have to nerf damage..just take away ONE of the newer hunter abilities and give a few other classes some short cooldowns to use. For example...



Paladin..blessing of freedom would be nice but I doubt it will ever make a come back...to be honest it did feel a bit OP for 19.



Warlock...maybe a death coil and bring back void sacrifice with a decent shield



Mage...a mana shield and or ice block



Hunter...get rid of one of these: Disengage/Scatter shot



Priest...lots of people say priest=OP but I actually like the way they are balanced for 19. I wouldn't want to give shadow any love because then that's all we would see lol.



As for the other classes...where do you begin? They need a LOT.

I think blizzard cares about a lot of things...they just don't talk about it. Blizz is careful about what they say publicly. There was a post recently explaining why...if I can find it I will link it but here's the summary of that post: Let's say they are TESTING or THINKING about giving my paladin a moose mount for patch 4.2. They don't want to back pedal and say "4.2 is released...we decided that giving level 19 paladins a moose mount was too hard to balance...no future plans to implement Paladin moose are planned for the future." They would have been better off just saying nothing because now you got a ton of angry/immature gamers wondering where their moose is.



We all want blizzard to be more open about their plans...unfortunately that just doesn't work. Also they have said they read the forums...just because a post doesn't receive a blue response does not mean it wasn't read. My suggestion is to keep making constructive posts on the forums about bracket pvp balance. YES you will get trolled on the blizz forums for playing a twink...ignore them.
 
They do. Theyre slowly going to fix this mess. Not 100% but it should get better.
