Does 50's work the same as F2P?

I've seen a couple guides that say "rip 50's" or "the day 50's died" when it comes to pvping. I'm looking for the same idea as the f2p accounts but also with some pve in the mix or is starter accounts mostly pve focused?


*Got my answer via Discord. Their is pvp/pve content the same as f2p but the bracket is only 50's. 40-49 50 51-59.

30s is the go to for pve, or 10-14.

I'm looking for a bracket that does both. Is that not a thing? Like 60/70's used to be type deal.

20's are limited in what they can do, and there's plenty of 20's that solo everything possible, so not much room for needing a group for pve content. 30's allows raiding, so there's group content, but the pvp is lacking.
50's is only bracket i've found with strong pvp communities and plenty of pve opportunities
