Do people play 89s?

Dont really know anything about this bracket, does anybody lock Xp at 89?

From what I know, 80-89 only has 80. I could be wrong, but I haven't met anyone who has or has done level 89 :s Sorry

I have seen a few, and for a while have been contemplating making one myself. What I have heard is that its super easy to break the ilvl cap so I don't think you can get much farther than 12% stats or something like that, just like gfed 79s. The only thing holding me back from making one myself is the lvling, especially since I'm probs just going to leave live once classic hits.

you rarely see anyone other than a ancient relic of a 85 twink or a 80, the bracket is pretty much dead nowadays

I have been leveling my hunter though the 80-89 bracket. After reading your post, I decided to lock him at 89 just to see what results I can get. There are a bunch of Draenor greens for each slot with an ilvl of 498 you can get off the AH cheap to boost your ilvl. Sitting at 464 ilvl right now. This is my bank toon, so I will probably just leave him at 89 and try to see how high I can get my ilvl. Anyone know of something not obvious to get via engineering or something to boost him higher?

in ipvp what are your stats increased by?

I have a hunter, shaman, and priest (all horde) mixed randomly between 80-89. Does 89 get the advantage that 79 and 99 has?

Grabbed a couple epic boe items that use to require lvl 90 that I was able to upgrade with lesser charms of good fortune. I'm guessing that someone level 89 looted these for them to require 89 now? I have my ilvl up to 484 now.

hmmm... if the bonus in bg’s is over 10% using attainable items im in. also the time in que for a bg is a huge factor for me. what time of the day is the bracket active?
