Believe it or not many people make more than $20/hr

Yeah. But what I'm saying is: If you rather Work IRL for WoW Gold then Alright, if not just farm gold on WoW.

I don't think people with fuck you money care. I used to be really against buying gold but I don't give a shit anymore, if people have the money let them use it instead of using their brain or time to make gold.

I'm Not against gold buyer, I mean, Idc if someone buy gold or not, but ifyou do, and get ban or hacked, it's all your fault. And for me, I'd rather work 1 hour in WoW to get the gold I need then pay with my IRL money to get it done especially that I don't want to risk my account for that. Also, I got hacked Multiple, and when I say multiple, it's multiple, of time since I started WoW and Still, my computer is not secured and I don't have authenticators, I know I'll get hacked another time, I know it. I take the risk, exactly like those who buy gold do.

I've personally used 2 sites for purchasing gold. i used to use bankofwow.com but a little over a year ago i've started using gameusd.com since it was cheaper and faster. I've never had an issue with either ban wise. i did have a farmer try to steal the gold back once by spamming open trade with me asking for it back so that he could take a s/s. Gameusd as a site does warn you about this though because sometimes you can run into that bad apple farmer. Other then that I have record of over 59 successful transactions on gameusd without any trouble. about over 100 successful transaction for buying gold referals if you count bankofwow.

the reviews for the site go pretty deep. Gameusd shows their own real reviews not fake ones. they average over a 96% customer satisfaction rating. Buying gold is against the terms of service for the game just like buying/selling your account. It is important to be aware of the risks and take precautions when you can.

wts WoW gold all servers as low as $2 per 1k on many servers!

that is the link where ive refered and had my successful sales since 3/21/09

Sorry, but they're selling like 8k gold for what 20$? You can farm for about an hour mining mats, JC them and sell it for about that amount, in 1 hour. If you rather Work 1 hour IRL then 1 hour of WoW for the same amount of gold, then yes I guess you should buy gold.

1st off it'll take more than an hour to make 8k. in an hour you MIGHT get a few stacks of ore....if you're a) know where the majority of nodes spawn (memory or gatherer) b) are lucky and c) are doing it when nobody else is (fat chance). then you, or a buddy, has to prospect it all and hope for a lot of blue quality gems. then either sell the raw gems or cut/have them cut into the best selling gem. a lot of rng in there, not to mention prices are falling fast on gems and raw ore/bars.

same story for herb. lots of competition means falling prices. plus a lot less nodes than a few days after launch (they were over populated at launch, now they're normal)

2nd most people dont have the choice to not work for an hour (referring to "rather work 1 hour irl..."), many people have full time jobs they have to show up to, or at least part time. it isnt a choice to go put in those hours, you do it and you get paid. after that it's your choice what to do with the money. as been said before a night at the movies for a single person is about 15$ depending on where you live....that's just for you, if you have to pay for a date/wife/kids, you just spent a whole lot more.

then it comes down to what else you could be doing in that "hour" where you are farming for 8k. you could be raiding, dungeons, working on achievements, bgs, arena, lvling alts, twinks, etc.

basically it all boils down to opportunity cost. shouldnt judge people for buying gold just b/c you refuse to or cant...it is a time saver. now as for security...i recommend running peer blocker and avg (has firewall and antivirus + pretty much everything) plus w/e else you wanna run along with it. and dont give out too much info. dont use the same email that is connected to your battle.net one and you should be solid, same for passwords (if you need to make an account with the site).

You're right, but i'm not judging people that buy gold, I just didn't get the point of it. Btw, It is possible to make 8kg/Hour, without help. I did 137k Gold since Cataclysm release. 32k g the first 2 days. I would simply mine over and over in deepholm and uldum, prospect, cut the gems = ridiculous Profit.

yes in at launch you could make a ridiculous amt of gold. but now pretty much everyone is 85 and able to farm the exact same spots as you...or at least lvling through the zones with mining. more competition means less nodes and also lower prices on the AH.

then to prospect it you either need JC on yourself, or an alt, or a trusted friend/guildy that'll do it for free and not take anything. then you need to hope you get a lot of expensive blue gems to either sell raw or cut (again, need a JC with correct patterns or a friend), cut bringing more money but still the market drops every day as more JCs get more patterns and ore becomes cheaper so they can buy more to prospect...you can see how it's sort of a circle. eventually the market will settle at a decent price, but at much lower than launch prices.

just saying you'd be hard pressed to make 8k an hour mining and prospecting, course that all depends on your servers econ and your luck with ore and gems. but still, even in that hour you could be off doing numerous other things which i mentioned in my last post. it's all opportunity cost

they're* prolly not
