I'm not going to make you read a page just to get my point across so here it is: Gameusd most likely sells scammed gold, and I've gotten a warning even when having my friend receive the gold and THEN give it to me hours later. This was the one and only time I've bought gold, and it was only 3k. This was a few months ago. I had already received a 3 day ban, yet I did not get banned when Blizzard found out I was buying gold, but I did get a warning.



Don't lose your account because of gameusd.
 
I've bought gold in the past, but never had any warnings at all because of it. Never used GAMEUSD though, so thanks for that. The ones that I've found reputable were ign6.com and forsaken-farmers.com.
 
I am very proud to say that Ive never bought gold off a site, never been hacked and all and all My computer is pretty safe. I thought I would click on the Buy Gold sub-forum thats up just to see if there was posts from fellow twinks or something and to much dismay I was redirected to a gold selling site. I closed to shortly after but I guess the damage was already done. I scan my computer once a week (Ive increased it since this happened) but I had 2 keyloggers on my computer and within the week my account was hacked and all my gold was taken. Along with all the gold in my guilds bank and my gf's bank since I had a toon in her guild aswell. I sent a nice message to the admin of this site telling them my experience and suggesting they took it down. But oh well, its not my site and I do not insult anyone here, this is just my warning to all who decide to visit the site.

It comes down to what is your time worth?



Do I have time to farm for 3000g or do I want to spend $6 that I made in 10 minutes at my job? I have a good job, a wife, a son, and a very busy family life. When I log on to play the game, I'm looking to enjoy it. Not spend my limited time farming for gold that I might be able to save up in a week to get something.



As for "paying so much" for the game, 15 bucks a month is nothing. Absolutely nothing. You spend more than that going to a movie now, and that only entertains you for one evening.
 
The real question is, Does it really worth buying gold from website when you can farm 3k gold in an hour on a level 85?
 
GameUSD doesn't actually do any of the gold farming. They're a site that just lists prices. You choose the price that you want to buy your gold at and they basically outsource your request to multiple other gold farmers and sites. If they like the price, then the outside company will give you the gold.
 
Well, again. It's all what your time is worth and what you want to do. I won't judge people for their choices or how they want to play the game.

You did not get a virus from visiting a gold site. This is not 2000.

Yes, gold farmers post their prices and such, I read about how it works a little while ago. That's where the problem comes in... it's complete chance whether or not you get scammed gold or not. Definitely not worth it.

I'm not quite sure to understand you, So you're proud because you never got hacked but got keylogged and then hacked by a gold-selling website? Umm

Sorry, but they're selling like 8k gold for what 20$? You can farm for about an hour mining mats, JC them and sell it for about that amount, in 1 hour. If you rather Work 1 hour IRL then 1 hour of WoW for the same amount of gold, then yes I guess you should buy gold.

I don't think people with fuck you money care. I used to be really against buying gold but I don't give a shit anymore, if people have the money let them use it instead of using their brain or time to make gold.

Believe it or not many people make more than $20/hr
