He got one without help from anyone simply doing a quest in ashenvale. And he is f2p.

I was not talking about the orc. I was quoting all the people who insisted it doesn't drop and that they would still be the first f2p to get one.



Some of these kill counts are slightly off as well. The pet is 1.6% chance from a bag so you'd need ~60 bags to get one. The bags themselves are only 0.12% so you'd need ~833 kills for for 1 bag. Or 50k kills to get 60 bags. I'm not even going to go into the drop rate mechanic blizzards made to deter botters. So best case scenario is 50k kills, you're not going to be best case scenario. Some people have been through over 200 bags and not gotten one, most people get theirs around the 80 mark. You also have to take into consideration that probability doesn't scale. It's a flat linear rate. The true drop rate is closer to 0.0000144% which churns out 69.5k kills so 50k was pretty lenient. If anyone wants to do the real math properly i won't yell at you.
