Discussion on Best Rogue Weapon Enchants

I haven't played a whole bunch since BC, but have been playing more recently. There's now some new enchants from when I last truly played actively. I have been told Dancing Steel and Elemental Force are better weapon enchants than my dual +15 agility.. but I am not sure I agree.

I always have loved the base agility over procs. It's more consistent crit, AP, DPS, all that.. But I went to wowhead to look at DS, and see it is only a buff for 13 agi? Is this wrong, or is it just heavily nerfed for 19s? Here is the spell here: Dancing Steel - Spell - World of Warcraft If you only have a chance to buff +13, why would you even use this? It would make much more sense to have +15 agility at all times..

Elemental Force on the other hand seems to be decent, with 105-121 damage output. Can this crit? If so I could see how much this would be valuable, but I would love to see some numbers on +30 agility vs the two extra weapon procs. Elemental Force - Spell - World of Warcraft

I would love to know what others think on this. EF seems like it might be a good switch, but I just don't see the appeal with DS. Thoughts?

The dancing steel procs give *around*the area of 60 agility, if I'm not terribly wrong.

Elemental Force procs often enough it's worth using.

For pure Ambush damage though, +15 agility all the way.

I like dancing steel and sub most. You still get a nice opener and then the dancing steel procs make your finisher much better. Elemental force is cool too though but I would only use it as assass.

sub play ds/15 agi
assasin dual eforce

I feel like with dual DS fangs you can apply ur DPS in alot more ways.

When both go off i have rediculous stats, and can usually drop 1 or 2 people out of stealth without a problem after my initial ambush, and if there is a problem i meld.
It feels like combat i like it.

With EF daggers you just hope for that oneshot.. and if it doesnt happen you cant exactly just run around dpsing people caus ur dodge isnt almost at 80%.

What Savee say sounds interesting, i was thinking something like that but never tested.

30 more static AP from OH as subtlety sounds not negligible at all..

i don't say it isn't but stacking huge AP gives you high initial burst numbers, right? We talk about static 30 more AP and some crit.. etc.

Still it's a thing looking good on paper, need to test the output ingame tho like i've already said.

sub play ds/15 agi

Ele Force can proc off poison tics. Nuff said. Nothing more satisfying than watching people run away and die to your poison tics.
15 Agi for Ambush with chain macro switch weapons to dual DS for Sub would be neat..

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I have been doing some testing, and the EF gives a bit of range to attack with! I think I might leave +15 on my shadowfang, and use my EF honor dagger as my OH. Need to figure out if I want to put it on both, or do DS and EF.. If I only had like 10 shadowfangs to play around with enchants on haha.
