Disabled while level is decreased

New to this whole thing, but I have noticed that when I queue on my level 32 warrior, who has the totem and ooze plus the Baron weapons, they get disabled now. I logged into two other level 10 and a level 20 character using Chromie queue, then once queued for a dungeon, click to return to present timeline. Those characters work simply fine with none of their equipment being disabled due to level. I wasn't sure if someone could explain this issue or point me in the right direction.

The red text reads, "Disabled while level is decreased".

Sorry, no screenshot. It was on my level 33 orc warrior, and I was using chromie time like I have done while leveling this orc up to queue for classic dungeons and burning crusade dungeons. You know, when you click on chromie select the timeline queue for a dungeon then click on her again to return to the present timeline. This way it would allow for your canister and totem to work.

Also, I'm queuing by myself, not in a part to synchronize.

So, both those trinkets worked fine for me up until this morning, now when I queue both my trinkets including the weapons show as disabled while level is decreased. I will have to wait on the queue timer, but I will take a screenshot.

Not sure if those screenshots will help, at any rate if the trinkets and weapons are disabled I guess it is what it is, and I'll keep on leveling the character.

This happened to me on my Druid lvl 55, decreased to 40 and ooz was disabled.

Huh, so the blizz police finally started to crack down on the trinkets? Seems more like a blanket fix, since it appears to affect items with use and passive extra effects, looks like they are trying to corner the issue.

Yes, it was weird because it worked simply fine up until this morning. I can queue for the other two characters I have those trinkets and wod weapons on, and they work fine. So, that made me think this was an outcome of some report of my warrior and that character was specifically targeted.

Now I don't have a stake in this, but I'm curious to what's happening. "Disabled while level is decreased" is an odd message. My first thought was "Oh, you have party sync enabled" but apparently that's not it.

I don't think it's a blanket fix because a) this is a half-assed measure on a live server and b) fixing the two items responsible I'd imagine would be much faster.

Yes, it started this morning and only for my warrior, who at the time was level 33. So, to test the Chromie queue system I logged over to my two other characters, a level 10, and a level 20. Both with the Canister and my level 20 with the totem and the canister, no problems queuing up using Chromie time like I always have. I noticed in the screenshot that the level of the weapon was lowered inside the dungeon from what it normally was (115) to level 69, so I'm not sure if that's what is causing the issue.

Anyway, I'm not sure what happened.

That's it, I think. So far I've only seen ilvl being lowered in dungeons in timewalking. Here's my theory: Classic dungeons scale in present timeline to level 30. Since you queued in CT but then went out of it, it scaled down your ilvl (although 69 is a very odd number, in BC and Wrath TW I get lowered to 75). And that triggers a thing where the effect does no longer apply. Somehow.

I have... I'll try to replicate this ilvl limit, I have a lv 40 locked character *somewhere*. Give me... however long the queue + dungeon takes.
