Diplomat title raids by your friendly Lagoon & Sporeggar DK

Well, as far as Mag'har goes, the tabard is what I'd be after. That tabard in particular is something I've been after for some time now. If Lagoon would prefer not to have me, though, I'd completely understand.

Not to be mean Mialo, but this seems like an example of a "look at me I want to be special" post. The reason I think this is because you can die and follow him in ghost form and still get rep without "drawing aggro," which seems to be your only "solid" reason for excluding other people.

I mean lets be honest, what did you guys that were here before that got the rep do that was special that differentiates you from anyone else? Nothing really, except as you stated "AFK'd on a mushroom." Lagoon seems like a genuinely nice person who did this for many people, which means I highly doubt he's the type of person that's going to exclude anyone that wants to do this because they aren't part of the "I was here when he was" club.

He's already said he's going to be doing Sporeggar for some people and moreover nearly everyone else that has posted so far has stated that they only want the Mag'har tabard. Sure, maybe we can't get the Diplomat title, but at the least we can get the tabard.

Why did you put solid in quotes?

Anyway I think you need to chillax a little bit there mr riotqt, It seems more like to me that Mialo is just pointing out the possibility that not everyone will get the runs that they are hoping for even with posting on this thread, so that later on they don't get their hopes and dreams crushed. I don't think it was really a "Hey look at me I got in the original ones fgts har har" kind of post :)
 
Hello everyone, i just posted quick update, and i come back to 3 pages of thread :) Well glad to see you still remember me and most are still playing to keep this bracket alive. However keep in mind it will take at least 2 more weeks until i can log on my DK, my sub ran out 3 days ago, and i won't be renewing till i've got internet in new place (apartment hunting starts next monday). For clarification:

- I've got 9 chars that i will be doing for myself, so every day i'll take 4 ppl with me (as with sporeggar, there is 20% penalty on rep for each person above group of 5)
meaning at least 36 people will get their chance to get both reps
- I will do roster where you can sign in (same like before), first come, first gets in basis
- That persons place will be held for 15 min after raid start, then i'll ask in f2p chat for any randoms that want to join (if more ppl interested, simple roll will decide)
- Shit happens so if you have stuff going on in real life, it is understandable if you can't attend or need to switch places
- On special occasions i will take 5th member (cases like when you had to leave day before with only 5k rep to exalted, etc, and it won't cause major delay for other signed for that day)
- Free rolls on greens as it was before so make sure to have empty bags (5-7g vendor items)


For those that were not present for Sporeggar rep, i will repeat this only once:
1. Yes, it will take hours to finish (exact time to be determined upon 2 days of grind and finding out best possible route so respawns are smooth)
2. If you can't stand being AFK and press jump every 30 minutes while watching movies, please don't sign up
3. You will get most likely only tabard or at the end title (or w/e comes with that rep), nothing more, so I don't wanna see in chat after you stood there for 1 hour something like WTF this is lame i'm out, and with this blocking some other person that wanted to join on that day but signed up late.

It is meant for twinks that appreciate time and effort put into their characters.

There were 2 guys i didnt get a chance to finish Sporeggar rep for so i'll be doing that at least once (Taco and i think Earl), so any of you needing that rep are welcome to join, however those 2 guys already have some rep, so don't expect to get to exalted in 1 push, rather i'll finish theirs and then after my chars are done with title, i might finish yours too (can't promise that though, untill i'll have really a lot of free time)

Hope this clears things up a bit and looking forward to see you soon (approx 2 weeks)

Even though I probably won't have that amount of free time to attend any of these events cause of work, I must admit that this grind and resulting tabards/title sound pretty awesome to have on a twink.
Not to mention the time difference EU/US and the fact that when these grind happen I'll probably be @ work
imo this is one of the nicest posts I have seen in WoW community for a very long, long time. I'm quite surprised that persons like you still exist in WoW

I hope we'll do some premades together Lagoon when u settle :)

This is exactly what I meant. I didn't want people to invest time into sitting there, following him all the time around without getting the result they expect to get. I'm sorry I made it look like any other rude way, Riot. In case so, I apologize.

Fair enough Mialo. I take you at your word, just watch the way you word things. Obviously a lot of other people got confused by the wording as well.

@Baffi - Clearly not so. If you look at what was typed it was a very strongly worded statement. "Keep in mind only characters with Sporeggar already exalted can participate" put a caveat on it that was not only unwarranted but also was not intended by Lagoon, as can be seen by his other post.

It's all dependent on how you choose to read it, while yes it can be interpreted as being very negative, I try to read everything on the forums in the best possible light :)

I'm trying not to stay on this since it's so off topic but "Keep in mind only characters with Sporeggar already exalted can participate" How did you read that in any other way!? ><
