I don't think it does as much as people are saying. Many people I know who are running on there 70th+ run haven't gotten one yet. Its all RNG. Sometimes you get lucky, most times you don't. If you got it on your 3rd run you just got really lucky. Don't think that's just typical, because it's not.
 
I am holding onto mine, I have this weird feeling something will happen during a patch and tada, back to how it used to be. Not taking any chances on selling it for 20k to have it be worth 200k in 6 months.

I sold one when cata hit, everyoen said sf got nerfed big time, and would suck.
i had one spare and sold it for 15K..

three months later, it was 250K ...


I beg that it will go back to how it used to be, shadowfang being special :b



Well it was my 3rd run after patch :-D
I think i did SFK 1000 times + pre patch .b

Just shhhhh. There are more than enough people that already have 200+ runs w/o getting any SF. Just be happy about your luck...
 
sf dropped 2 try but didnt won it
didnt need it at all when i played on my priest
to bad i wasnt on my rogue

I dont care if you are having a hard time to believe anything... fact is, there are tons of ppl that arent as lucky as you or others. Its all rngd. So feel lucky that you get one after 3 runs..

3 x night reavers, 1 assassin's blade, 1 mindthrust and 1 black malice down. Still waiting on this "now common" shadowfang drop :)
 
hit 200 runs yesterday not saw a SF,duskbringer,neco robes or a gloomshroud.. its all about luck which i seem to not have.

In the process ive gotten:

12 witching staves, 13 face smashers, 4 black malice 7 MTB, 2 assas blades..
