Defensive/blocking Warrior

Anyone can make me a chardev for a blocking/defensive warrior.

Would be nice,since i dont know myself which items to go for..

depends what you are wanting to do with your warrior. I would probably make a defensive warrior with a large health pool and talented 5/5 into shield specialization.
 
Just want a defensive warrior who can witstand alot of damage bij especially blocking.

He doesnt need to do alot of damage/nor have a big health pool.

Just want him to block stuf=)
 
sounds like you just need to make a MAX armor/stam warrior with a blocking enchant on Deadskull shield



The World of Warcraft Armory - Gracob @ Elune - Profile get this gear but change out legs gloves and main hand weapon for Chausses of Westfall, Thorbias +15 agi, and weapon with 15 agility on it. You'll also want to be dwarf so you can remove bleed effects and get the 10% armor increase every 2 min to use with your shield block every 1 min. Dead skull already has pretty good block but maybe try to find a perfect shield of blocking? armor and stam is going to be better on deadskull.

Also swap out the chest for TLA with 100 HP and the obvious choice is dranei IMO.
 
he wants the 10 block enchant to the shield, if i recall correctly its 2% block + about 30 damage stopped additionally by the block
 
Ye im gonna get 2 shields then i guess, 1 with shieldspike and 1 with the 10 block enchant.

Also dont now all the titems that have+defense stats on it.

(first warrior twink im gonna make).

Race i was planning on is draenei indeed.

Hint: Don't use defense stats items :)

Why is Draenei the obvious choice? Dwarf is far better in this case. This guy wants to mitigate damage, 10% more armor is going to be like 200 more armor in most cases. If you were a draenei in his set up your heal would be for like 320+250or about 570 every 3 minutes. Bleed effects ignore armor so all that 60-70% damage reduction is going to be almost worthless. If you get stuck with 2 garrotes what is better, removing them instantly (every two minutes) or putting up a 570 heal over 15 seconds?



Pay attention to two minute racial because you can use them more often and usually twice in every arena.



Draenei's str recently got reduced and dwarf str got an increase when they normalized starting stats. it's only like 4-5str difference but I think it's a big deal.
 
That just made me rethink about the race..

Heal looks nice but like what u say about dwarf racials also look nice indeed.

And jizzhut ill be waiting for ur chardev then:D

the only interesting shield for blocking is the one from the instance in the barrens.

the one that drops from kresh the turtle



however not the one with block, the one with def
 
Kresh's back has more armour and slightly more block value than a shield of blocking, but the 6 def rating doesnt make up for the strength and block rating lost from the blocking shield.
 
just get [item]Deadskull Shield[/item] or maybe [item]Arctic Buckler[/item] Look at the block on these shields 12 and 13! and they have the MOST armor I would pick up the arctic buckler and put Lesser blocking on that. of course block rating is different than base block on the shield but the armor and stam make these two shields some of the best in the bracket, Kresh's is worthless compared to these.

Dear Tuinheld, this is what I am working on atm. Instead of just blocking I go for all 3 avoidance. I have test defensive rating and it is waste.

The chardev is showing 24 block chance, 10 parry, and 6 dodge which is wrong. However they total up to 40 avoidance which is right. It should be 16 block chance, 10 parry chance, and 14 dodge chance adding up to 40 avoidance. The amount of hp looks right. I think 40 avoidance and 1900 hp unbuffed will make you a happy warrior. It is making me happy right now and I am not even close to done with mine.



edit: I believe that when you have a healer or healers healing avoidance will be much more valuable than health pool. However I think 1900 unbuffed is still a good health pool.
 
That also looks quite interesting,might reconsider getting all the defensive ratings and going for avoidance indeed.

Ur gear looks solid and might be what im going for(except for the horde items -_- cant get em).
