hmmm. sounds like how 19 twinks have been since the dawn of time, its just how the bracket is massive egos and huge douche bags who can back up there play and if they dont get shamed its a great system that has worked for years.
and i would love to have back those players but i think it's going to be a while until we see them move back to 19

If the owner of this site cared about the death of a forum section he wouldn't give those who are biased PoS power... let the most popular section die than when the ad view money gets slim and he wonders why, he can finally see the shithole he made when he gave (x mods name (s)) and the other asshat ideas that were put into action

Edit: if you can't figure it out, death of forum section=death of 19s because; no banter=no forum=no drama=twinks get bored=twinks move on=bracket dies.

This thread is pretty amusing. Over moderation on an independent forum has nothing to do with my in game choices.
 
Ego-stroking and banter on the forums has always been an important part of the bracket for the hard core. Those people are not contented with queuing PuG games every day, they are interested in premades and arenas. The forums were a vital means to make those PuG games more interesting than they actually were. The drama between players / guilds created an aura of competitiveness around games that would have been boring and meaningless by themselves.

The bracket hast been the same for a long time hence why many tinks have quit over the last year or two, myself included. The bracket has been around since what like 2006? I'd say 7-8 years was a pretty good run considering our bracket is a niche of a very popular game with millions of players that tends to only last a certain number of years till the next one comes along. Having played in the bracket for over 5 years, the forums have gotten worse over the years because mods slowly allowed less and less drama posts, which stirred up competition. Its like how society has changed over past decade, people are becoming too sensitive and can't take a joke or two without getting offended. That said, tinks gotta face the truth. The bracket has been in decline for awhile so I don't believe its fair to say mods killed the bracket because of what has happened recently. Yes, they may have hindered interaction between whats left of the bracket, the remnants, but the bracket has been on decline for awhile now, and it was getting pretty evident that the bracket was coming to an end.

I'm speaking about the US Bracket. I don't know the current state of Eu 19s. Sorry, I guess I should have made that clear. Only the time I played in the EU bracket was for like three weeks over 1.5 years ago.
 
This probs one of the most legit posts in a long time.

A lot of this has been on my mind but the threats of getting banned because half of my infractions were well over a year ago (and minor ones at that) has hindered my ambitions to post on such a risque topic.

this thread itself is further proof of the results of drama, look how active it is in only a few hours of creation, people are actually paying attention to 19 twinks again

To answer the OP's question Pizza was removed from the bracket manager position because Shane and I felt he was a role model we no longer wished to endorse.
