Got mine on the 12th run. Wasn't too bad. Maybe ibgot super lucky or the drop rate is much greater than the .03% wowhead said 2 weeks ago.

If I remember right, it was 5% drop rate back in the day. My best ever was 4 runs. The one I’ve gotten in classic was probably around 30 runs. I don't think I ever did more than 50 runs for a ring, but I am just approximating.

you can pretty much just stand at the entrance and still be in loot range, just run down the first hall way and see how far u can make it before dying and you should be fine to group loot while dead.

also idk if im unlucky or people are blessed with rng going for this ring, took me 48 and 79 runs getting these for my 29/39 ._.

Back in days my 29 war never got it 300+ rounds then pc crashed i got boost and i logget on and i was L 30 . My other 29 i got it around round 200.

I could be misremembering. Maybe it was closer to 1% and I'm just confusing the 5% with the proc rate? I know for sure I got it on my pally, then my mage, then my shaman. I think I even helped a few other people get theirs, but I feel like 1% drop would have been more memorably painful... like trying to get a specific charged gear suffix to drop, easily a worse farm than DMH.
