day one recap.

We'll see what happens when there are 7 holy pallies per team. Right now I'm having a lot of fun in these, but we'll see after I adjust a bit more. Its nice having burst cut down so much, kills take some slight coordination/CC etc. Its actually team pvp.

Hmmm, some observations from the first couple games.
-Bad 24s raging about not being able to global people
-Rogues can still hurt...first subterfuge ambush was a bit shocking, but being able to blink away right off is amazing.
-Popping into LoS for a quick hardcast without having to worry about eating a 1k explosive shot...very nice.
-Shared mounts/titles/achievements :D. May have to actually try to link my accounts now, would love to be sitting around 85-90k HKs (that extra 15k from the f2p will help a lot these days lol)
-24 shadow priests who won't cast a heal -_-

Yeah, hunters are literally useless now. You just have no purpose. You have to roll a caster to do anything now...

it is so bad..my 24 ''fully decked out''survival huntard was losing aggro to MY PET against mobs.
I have 320ish AP(a 20 used to have around 450 buffed)..my 24 had 706 AP.

But hey..as a plus horde has BiS caster gear and 60 intellect buff from warsong battle mages. So now ppl cant bitch about the skillpatch

Udpates!

-Hpally damage seriously broken, finally started hitting the groups of 24 ones...no good. Hitting mobs for 450 at level 10 apparently though, so maybe a chance that gets fixed?
-Hitting 24s is rougher, will try out stacking it a bit on my mage, could be very tough on f2ps (especially w/o a wand slot)
-Close games can be a ton of fun, super unbalanced games are way worse.
-Arcane may be better than I thought. Less burst = moar time/freedom to cast. Can rack up some nice damage (which is desperately needed right now). Icy Floes has been working nicely for me so far

If you're thinking about quitting because of the update, don't. It's the first day that 5.0 is implemented. Blizz does this a lot. When 4.0 patch was put in, rogues were able to ambush for 1k literally one shotting people. Blizz quickly noticed this and fixed it without hesitation. Ambushes went for 1.1k to 400 within days. When Blizzard puts in a huge patch, they usually check all bracket balance to see if it's ok. I'm sure they will do the same soon.

This is what im referring too( SKip to :35): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37T_AXJ9FEQ

As a resto druid fc, i can use the 15% speed inc talent, travel form, and swiftness pot to get 241% speed buff, literally running me across mid in about 10-12 seconds, fc'ing has never been easier

The rogue thing was extreme, they were hitting so hard that the first thing a rogue touched out of stealth was dead, regardless of gear or hp or anything.

However no one would call the f2p experience thus far "balanced" or "ok" and blizz left it alone.
