Day Of The Dead Tip:

Kincaide

Legend
I'm posting this in case anyone is having trouble finding the quest-giver to get the marionette puppet.

You have to go to the graveyard in the capital city of your character's race. The ghost in the Stormwind graveyard will only give the quest to humans, for example.

This tripped me up until I happened to read it in a comment on Wowhead.

Take ice cold milk and flour with you. Go to the local graveyard. Buy the recipe for the bread of the dead and some marigolds (off-hand or one timer, doesn't matter). Cook the bread at one of the blue braziers around. Use the marigold - tadaaa - questgiver. Hand him the bread and enjoy your pet.

Yesterday, on the actual RL Dia de los Muertos, I went to the local Hispanic grocery store and bought some real Pan de Muerto (Bread of the Dead). It is tasty. That is all.

Is there anything of a non vanity nature useful from this event? A buff or even something like filled festive mug that does something?

Thanks, even though that's a little less than food buff from cooking at least u don't have to hunt simple flour.

bump, bump, bump, banned...

Honestly, as someone that doesn't frequent this place too often I find it more than a little annoying to come here just to see someone having scrawled bump in over ten threads. While I understand you are trying to raise your post count so as to create a thread or what not there are better ways to do it. Going as far as to assume you actually play this game is it really so difficult to pick a thread in which you can at least try to contribute to the original topic?

Moving on, I've seen several marionettes that are rare instead of uncommon, where these all just pets someone has decided to use a stone to upgrade, not a bad chose given its the strongest anti dragon pet as far as I know, or is there a chance of getting one simply from the quest?

they used a stone, pets you get from events have static stats and never have several rareties

I knew that there weren't other breeds of the pet, but that the little guy could be crated. I don't keep up much with wowkemon, I thought maybe it wasn't outside the realm of possibility that you could get a rare version thanks for the answer
