damage control not in a bg

ok so i was running kara on my 68 and i got the damage control achievement in there. has this happened to anyone while lvling a twink or just anywhere with any toon?

I thought damage control could only be achieved in PvP.

It's true fuzzles; Damage Control is a PvP-only achievement. It can only be obtained in a battleground. Maybe - but I highly doubt it - it can be done in an arena match but I'm very sure it's not supposed to be done in a PvE instance.



Two options;

1) You triggered a glitch.

2) You got an achievement that is almost the same in name, I will check if there's any in Kara.

It has been posted before - I was/is a bug that came with 3.1. The servers dont "reset" your pvp information - So you can get the archievement over 5 matches or whatever since it just adds all the dmg you make and dont care about how many BG you joine

My hunter friend got Damage control in AB with only 14k damage, its pretty bugged.

It happend to me in WSG recently (check achievents on Hoboken).



I was a bit above 30K when the achievement triggered. I thought the bug was that they left a 0 on the damage check (30K instead of 300K). But this makes more sense as I played a bunch of games on that day.
