GnR has always been on top for the hair bands - Besides Eddie(I say Eddie because it was just Eddie back then), Van Halen, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Aerosmith. We today call them hair bands when really it was just hard rock bands of the 80s (Showing my age much?). To answer your questions the cake was not poisoned. She committed suicide by gunshot - Hence why the mirror is covering the other half of her face as a courtesy to the viewers. That was actually Axls' girlfriend (Stephanie) at the time and she irl cheated on him with Brant and had a baby by Brant. That wasn't the actual Stephanie but based on his relationship with her. He was pretty busted and broken up and they for a while didn't release a lot of new albums (Cassette/vinyl) during that time. Great video choice.

I loved them till the moment they started attacking their fans over money they had plenty of. Because of that, I can't consider them greatest anymore. I had given it thought of adding them. I was there for the days of burning CD, and sound clips. I was a big Napster fan. What they did was crushing to their real fans. (Biting the hand that feeds you thing).

yea, they went downhill after And Justice for All, i blame Lars mostly for the napster stuff, i backed up all my mp3's from napster onto cd's, mosty pink floyd, rush and others, but yea GNR was great when they came out appetite for destruction is one of my favorite albums
