honestly i couldn't care if a song is mainstream or not, although i can't say i can think of any new mainstream stuff in general i like other than Pendulum. the 1960s-90s mainstream rock was great, seems to be lacking nowadays with auto-tune taking over. seems like the most popular songs produced now contain the same beat with some decent singer singing about stuff i don't care about.
