    • Hey guys,


    I've been away from WoW for a while now and I'm wondering how 70 is now that MoP has been released and the dust has had some time to settle. Are there any classes/comps that simply dominate the bracket or is everything fairly balanced? Could you guys please list in your own opinion the 3 strongest and weakest classes at the moment for PvP at 70?
     
    I leveled my rogue to 70 today, just got full pvp gear and enchanted socketed it up to par with the other pvpers. I was the same, aint played 70 twink for a while, not since the launch of cata. I quit, and came back a few weeks ago. It was around 9pm today, I stopped my xp on my 70 rogue, entered bg que and it popped almost instantly...70 twinks are very much alive by the looks of it!

    From my experience (which granted hasn't been much cause i've just wanted to log off straight after) prot pallies are ridiculously op and very faceroll, but sadly this goes for all hybrid classes too. Their damage is as high as straight dps classes, if not higher and their healing is only slightly below healers.

    Weak classes seem to be hard to point out, the former weak ones such as locks/hunters/warriors have all received some nice damage buffs.

    Haven't experienced the bracket that much, logged off after meeting badly skilled players and just getting facerolled.
     
    I've played few BGs on my Spriest(tried one as disc but that was prolly the biggest mistake ever). I have not played any arenas yet since there's not a single 'good' twink on my realm. Active ones atleast. Not that I'd even like to, hybrid retardness.

    From what I've understood. You have two option, assuming you're not playing gimbed class.
    1. Go full offensive with either PvP Power or Main stat gems and pick few PvE pieces for extra socket slots. Pros: Your damage is quite ridiculous, you should be able to global pretty much every non resi stacking player. Also if you're hybrid your heals will be ridiculous.
    Cons: You're still pretty weak even with base resi added, I've had rogues crit 9.5k with Evi on me, shamans critting up to 5.5k with Lava burst and mages totally destroy you with their 6k-7k pyros.

    2. Go with max resi. You should never ever lose 1v1, 1v2 or even 1v3, if you're half decent. Especially against bad/average players. Good players might be able to kill you. But with resi gems you won't kill anything either.

    Same shit in different package. Could even say that the burst is worse than what is was back in Cata. You might not drop from 100%->0% in a split second(as in there's actually time to react), but now there are multiple classes that can kill you in few globals.

    P.S. Those who claim that 70s is more balanced than 90s, please go die in a fire. Ok, mongoloid oneshot macro cleave(read KFC) is beyond stupid.
     
    70 more balanced than 90 :D nice joke, KFC is really noobproof comp ye, everyone can play it but shatterplay counters it in so many ways.
     
    It's slowly coming back. It just died out for awhile because everyone went to level their mains to explore and do other shit. But they will come back. Pvp power carries, and healers that stack resil take forever to die, ESPICIALLY resto druids. You will encounter those 3v3 matches where the healer will go try hard and make you wait 10+ more mins to kill it. Other than that it's pretty fun still. Haven't tried (Legit) rbgs yet. Will soon once i get my guilds team ready and up to par to face others. ​
     
    I've been back on WoW for about a week now and only played a couple of games (2v2 only) and from what I can tell no one class seems to be OP. Although healer/hybrid seems to be quite strong at the moment. I've been playing Spriest/Holy for a bit and if we meet any kind of healer/hybrid setup the games drag on for an incredibly long amount of time.
     
    Anyone have an armory to share for a current BiS 70 alliance arms warrior? Thanks!

    A few questions too: what is the expertise cap and hit cap? How much should you stack gem pvp power? What is the order of importance for each stat (expertise, AP, Crit, pvp power, hit, etc) for an arms warrior?

    I've been seeing that many level to 74. Been seeing blood dks murder anyone in a matter of milliseconds. Are ret pallys as viable or even more than level 74 blood dks? Anyone know?
     
    Ret/Prot Paladin seem to have the most burst out of any class Exorcism/Avengers Shield coupled with Harsh Words can easily hit my Priest for upwards of 20k
