about the dmf artifacts - crystal can you confirm that turning in banner, ornate egg, or treatise does not reset professions to 100? TY.

It doesnt, i'm 99% sure.
I haven't done only archaeology quest and it didn't reset, other profs reset to 100. Just don't do quests that give + to a profession

Had to pop the rod, it could've been done with bubble or rejuv potion but I think it's okay this way too.

So I have decided to try and do Deadmines on Resurrection Sickness but it turned out to be really challenging and too hard as Retri (doable but barely and I didn't manage) so I switched to Holy and downed him with 20 seconds off the clock.
Fight took around 9 minutes.
