Hey everyone,
I read EU's post about their tourament and thought it sounded like a great idea so I wanted to offer something similar, but for the twinks of the Elune server only. More details to come, but would like to see who would be interested in a participating in a 2v2 tourament. Was thinking teams with face each other for a best of 5 series and then move on to either the winners bracker or losers bracket. If we get enough teams I would like each team to face each other twice along a 2 week period to conduct these games.
After all the teams have been entered I will random select who will face each other and then those team will have 3 days to send me a pm with the scores along with a screenshot. I will update the bracket regulary so people can see the progress.
As far as the teams go they may consist of double dps, double healers whatever you like along with a sub of 1 class that must be submitted with the team. You are allowed to change you setup only once in the best of 5 series so use it wisely! If a team uses it more than once they will forfeit that Series! Please note that the change must be played by one of the orginal team members so essentially you would need to have 2 twinks on your account to be eligible and only 1 member of the team is allowed to play the Sub.
How to enter:
To enter please PM in TI or in-game to Williams. Please tell me your teams name, the 2 people on the team with the race/class along with the sub class/race and which one will be playing that sub. This information will all be made public so each team knows what Sub class they have to use if needed.
Payouts will consist of:
1st place- $10,000 gold
2nd place- $3,000 gold
3rd place- $1,000 gold if we have more than 10 teams signed up. Otherwise no prize will be given to the 3rd place member.
* I am toying with the idea of Frapsing this whole tournament so in that event if possible me or someone would need to be included in the arena so that we could record this for our fellow twinks to view. I thought this would bring more life to the bracket. If I have enough people wanting to play I may consider expanding this from Elune to the whole community. Let me know your thoughts.
