I've on repeat said this is possible and they're just making up excuses or what not to do so. Even if it's just a matter of money, it's still just an excuse not to do so.

This seems really really really promising.

Yes, exactly. It did seem unlikely that they would do this though, I wonder what prompted them? I can almost guarantee it wasn't for twinks' sakes.

Probably rated Battlegrounds. From what I see in my own battlegroups, not many of them could probably support rated or unrated BGs at a consistent pace throughout the entire day. Looks like they're expanding the population so there's more people that you can play against.

i bet it will only work for rated bgs. not normal bgs, not low lvl bgs, not arenas, not dungeons, etc. but hey, guess we'll wait till launch. hopefully they get some a dat fiber optic interwebz goin so reduced lag between datacenters.

We're currently expecting both normal and rated battlegrounds to be cross-battlegroup (within a region) for the launch of Cataclysm. So, players queueing from anywhere in north america (for example) could play vs players on any north american battlegroup, etc. This applies to all regions, not just north america.

I recon this will defo ressurect twinking back to its old status, but in a newer fashion. By that meaning that it's still locked exp, but with the WSG pops equal to pre Exp lock. Also twinking will no longer be reduced to irl money. You can twink on your main realm! *cheers*

This is just the greates news we could be expecting since 3.2 patch.



In france, there is only 1/5 Battlegroup going on with NO XP BG. But with this awsome news, all hope is back !

these changes should effect all accounts. at least i cant see why or how they would solely effect cata

Brilliant, Im from Australia and this will mean I will be able to get Game Pops when its more convenient to me again, aka.5pm onwards after work, rather than 9am-4pm because im on an american server. And not just when its convenient, they should be popping all day , if people from every battle group are queueing up!

? no ? if you play on us servers you'll be grouped with other us BGs amirite? just b/c you live in austalia doesnt mean youll get put there automatically
