this bracket is very fun once you get to know people and recognize some names games get very fun. As for bg pops i get 5-10 minute pops 2pm-9pm pst anything before and after that ques can go between 20 minutes-hour. And as for your class choice, both ret and enhance are very strong, ret has better support/surviveability you want to gear a balance of stam/strength for ret. Enhance has higher overall damage but can't heal onpar with a ret so the choice is yours. here is some links to ideal armories in my opinion hope this helped somewhat!

why play a healer when rets heal more than they do?

A ret can out heal a Mistweaver? A resto Shaman? A disc Priest?
Funny, I never see them at the top of the healing charts. Nor at the top of the dispel meters either. I wonder why that is... I think I know why. Kek...

You can actually do some pretty significant healing on a ret with strength stacked gear. Obviously it won't be as great as having a real healer but if you enjoy playing dps it won't ever be as much of a detriment as say having 5 rogues. I actually enjoy healing a lot but when I heal in pugs nothing ever gets focused correctly. A Ret is a great compromise to that issue.
