Could a lvl 71-74 inv a 70 to a team? or vise versa?

no. why would this be any different than it always has been?

From what i'm aware, a lvl 71 + can not join an arena team.

He has to be in the team before he hitted 71.

So to answer your question, i higly doubt it.

Maybe because Blizzard isn't consistent with how they do things?

To clarify what others said, while level 71+ characters cannot join new arena teams, they can get arenas if they create a team at 70, and then level up afterward. That said, these restrictions do not apply to RBGs -- level 71+ characters can join new RBG teams.

basically if you want to be sad as fuck and play 70+ in a 70bracket he needs to have a team before he lvls up AND Has to have an Alt 70 in it so your alt adds more members.

who cares if someone plays level 71-74? its not like this bracket takes skill or that your 2.5k wintraded RBG/3s rating mean anything. you're all nobodies anyways, so who the fck cares?

Common knowledge is.... you know... common?

It's not common knowledge. The question comes up on a regular basis, as do questions about secondary stat scaling. For example...

...the majority of players in 70-74 still do not understand that going above 70 isn't necessarily better. They see higher levels, and automatically assume superiority. This is after more than a year with the bracket being 70-74.

mainly talking about Pallys going 70+ to try and succeed to be superior becouse of the level difference (new spell etc)
