Control of Lava still resetting Lava Burst

I haven't seen any comments about this on this site so either its known and kept secret or nobody noticed it, but even tho the pvp talent https://www.wowhead.com/spell=204393/control-of-lava no longer replaces https://www.wowhead.com/spell=77756/lava-surge it still resets the cooldown of https://www.wowhead.com/spell=51505/lava-burst. Maybe nobody noticed that because there is no glow-up on reset anymore, but it still happens

Lava surge is a level 29 talent.
But if I understand what you're saying is... if flame shock is dispelled while you have control of lava pvp talent selected, it resets your cooldown of lava burst?

edit: OH I'm testing it out now and it DOES reset your lava burst just smacking a target dummy

what it used to do is it made resets from lava surge become non-instant but stronger, for some reason it was aviable talent for lvl 20 and it treated your character as if it had lava surge aviable, they changed the talent to be what it is now but it seems like it still treats character as if it had passive aviable. They probably left that part of the code and it doesn't affect max lvl so nobody knew that lol

It was supposed to be gone with the rework of the talent. But appearently that never happened
