With the profession splits and BFA changes, there is a new meta for consumables in the XPOff brackets. Below, you can find the different categories of consumables, neat tricks for finding them, and the different classes of shared cooldowns. Feel free to comment with any additions or your favorite consumable. While there are other consumables/potions available, these are the highest rank available or are chosen due to their utility or efficiency. Some may require engineering, alchemy, BFA, or access to expensive mats.

Hints and Tips
  1. Wildvine and Battleground potions have really good synergy since they are both on separate 1min CDs. Experiment with using Saltwater or Defiance potions while having Wildvine potions as a backup. Also, Wildvine + "Third Wind" Potion is practically a Lay on Hands.
  2. Wildvine and Protection potions can be bought by 3 different vendors (requires BFA), in unlimited quantities: Alchemist Hart (A) + Takata (AH) + Isabel Marigan (H).
  3. https://www.wowhead.com/item=5512/healthstone are super useful and with the scarcity of Warlocks outside of our boy @Swoops , it'd be nice to have them at the ready. Well, thanks to @Sun he's provided a way to help us out. This works even in parties while waiting for queues, but find any Class Trainer and queue for the Training Grounds. Inside is a Soulwell where you can grab one and then leave instance group quickly.
  4. https://www.wowhead.com/item=5642/recipe-free-action-potion is sold in limited quantities by the Orgrimmar, Ironforge, and Darnassus alchemy vendors.
  5. Battle standards can be bought for 1x https://www.wowhead.com/item=137642/mark-of-honor by the Orgrimmar or Stormwind PvP vendors.
  6. To make gold or stock up on Battleground potions, https://www.wowhead.com/item=137642/mark-of-honor are Bind on Blizzard Battle.net account and can be mailed cross faction/realm to buy potions 1 for 1.

lol do you know how hard to farm wildvine is? pretty much makes it redundant as a mat for a connumsable. FArming that shit for engineering was aids
 
There is infinity wildvein potions for silver each, i have drank so many if flows through these veins! Just have to find it...

I also know of a few eng. BOMB's that are not currently on this list you may have missed. ;)

Definitely seen it somewhere, probably GF'd at this point. Was told by a few people to put the Clam and Squids (those work) for non vers/stam foods. I guess that does make it misleading then.

Can you also Add 10% PvP food from marks, thunder shock from iron boot flask (Pretty much a consumable) Cozy fire buff (also usable in arena) lease add locations of wild vein Potions and Price.

Thank you very much for the list! I rarely used buffs like these on my twinks before. However, I decided to start and it's made a HUGE difference in my damage and survivability. Sorry to all the casters I've been one shotting...
 
Nice work, @Enno! Definitely bookmarking this thread. It is a bummer that the food 39s use has same stat value (for the most part) as what the 19s are using though.
 
Portable Bronze Mortar... stun nade with no cast time - its most useful quality? Maybe I just missed it in the list? Use them like candy in the 29s.
 
Gonna try the mortar out next round. It is a zero cast with a slow air time.

I find the PBM to be more useful like a tauren stomp to stop a glass cannon rogue from killing you in the 29s... and appears to be even more so in the 39s where glass cannon is apparently 2x as dangerous from what I can see in the few games I have been in (I only have a handful of games under my belt, but its easy to see what some of the balls-deep rogues can do)... I have fought some glass rogues that can stun lock and take me to about 5%hp and I have 3300HP and 32% versatility :p... so stunning them and chi-torpoeding out seems crucial, to not just be ass-up in the yard :p

It would be different if people paid attention to their healers... but that does not seem to be a pvp trait for the alliance right now in the 39s... at all. :(... partially from neglect and also mainly from the alliance just running for their life in most games :(
