I know theres one or two people with half a brain here. I have to write a paper on how the internet has effected television. I specifically thought it would be fun to write it on how internet gaming in particular may have taken peoples interest away from cable television. I can't seem to find anything so I figured I'd ask here if anyone has come across any interesting news articles or scholarly articles associated with this.

I wont be surprised at all if I dont get any hits here but i figured it would be worth a try.

I can't see Internet gaming corellating to not watching tv. Dvr, noob

Internet itself might take people away from tv since you can watch shows and movies using the Internet and bypass the television...but not b/c of gaming

I don't watch t.v. because of gaming. I usually just go straight into my room without turning my t.v. on. I take occasional breaks and watch an hour or two of tv. then ill go back in my room and go right back on it without turning my tv on.

I would try to find some information on Netflix and/or YouTube . Both of those sites are great substitutes for watching TV.

Netflix and youtube was what everyone was doing. I decided to go an alternative rout but gave up on the gaming coloration
