Confirmed! Belt Buckle Failed

Got on two accounts, got a Belt of the Fang to drop, put a Belt Buckle on it, and it made it soulbound, removing the 2 hour window.
Reasoning for trying this: Adding a 24-stam gem onto the belt(would make it BiS easily)

Failed because the idea didn't work. I couldn't send it back to my 24 twink.

belt buckle doenst work anyway, u can attach the bubkle but when u go to socket it it bugged out and wont accept the gem, ive got the belt buckle on a few twinks, doesn't work on any of them.

Yes it does, I have a white item with a 24 stam gem in it.

Idk then, ive got BS sockets on multiple twinks, the trade worked fine for them then they socketed fine too. ive got tinkers on multiple twinks they all work fine, put pant enchants on multiple twinks too and they worked fine. just the 3 belt buckles I did all traded fine they just wont socket. all my stuff was done ages ago idk why they are not working. GL getting yours on

U can still socket and put gem in since cata. Still works. Just have to know how to glitch gem in. Professions not needed.

Belt buckle can be added to your belt using the old exploit but you won't be able to socket a gem: gemming will just silently fail.

Someone care to explain this? I have 7 belts of the fang with empty sockets in them as gems cannot be applied to them.. Any proof that it works on belts that are BoP and done through the trade window?

Can you apply gems, you just got to know witch ones you use for the socket. once the gem has been applied to belt. The stats are show but they do not apply, just like gem gloves/bracers. They still show the stats but you don't gain anything.

Anyone mind sharing? How does one get the gem to stick after the Buckle is applied?

I tried applying from bank/mail to belt both on char and in bags. I tried taking durability to 0. Others can't do thru trade window. I tried with the BC white gems, and prismatic sphere. Does it involve item restoration or being in a specific phase?
