Coming back for MoP

Hey everyone, doubt any of you remember me. Never really played F2P with more than just myself.

Anywho, I quit wow altogether back in December before MoP hit because I had been doing HC progression raiding and PvPing and frankly just didn't have any time for anything else.

Now a few months later I want to ease myself back into it. I really loved playing F2P (even though my hpally sucked) so I thought I'd start here.

What are the classes like in terms of viability? Do hunters still face roll? Are BGs still full of 24s?

I'm wanting to start fresh, I have no idea what classes are currently FOTM but I've always liked warriors and mages so I've rolled a goblin Mage on AP and plan to make him fire (most likely a terrible idea)

When I left 5.0 had just dropped and hpallys could basically 1 shot with holy shock. After logging in it seems like that's not the case anymore.

Just thought I'd say hi and hopefully ill be able to play with some more people this time around.

There are currently some spell hit problems [26% Spell Miss Chance (Still Broken 19-Mar)] that of course make things hard for mages especially. Unreliable CC is frustrating. Since you've already started your mage I suggest finishing it anyways, since they will probably be powerful, if Blizz gets around to fixing the hit problem. Or even acknowledging it first. Just try mage, maybe you'll enjoy it still. :) And if you think it's unbearable, you can still roll another class.
 
26% spell hit only applies to spells that aren't spec specific. So you only need to reach normal amount of hit for pyro and other short fire spell, but you need 64 hit, which is impossible for a f2p to obtain on a mage, for fire blast, or poly to never miss.

Hmm that seems a little sketchy, I might have to just stick with playing my paladin for now if that's a big issue.

However I'm now realizing I forgot my password for the account with my pally, as well as the email for it. Stupid me making so many passwords... Oh well
 
You already know about spell hit, pretty much everyone ever make a prot warrior its like half of each team now (if you know how to play your class its not that hard to outplay most of them) and hunters are pretty easy to play still especially when people cant touch you. I would say everything is viable except for fury warriors and most 24s quit since they lost all their skill.

ps. i wouldn't go fire imo Arcane = Frost >>> Fire
 
I forgot how amazing blizzard support was. Was able to get my account back by verifying my IP and had it transferred to my main account.

Back on my hpally, feels good to be playing again

Of this you are mistaken. New patches bring new content for P2Ps. Thus they get on their 90's. Once P2P get finished or bored with current content they will be back. /cheers

nope more 24s than ever compared to 2011.
Infact show me a bg where you havent been in without at least 1 24.. At least you could get into one in cata.
