Combined Latest Pre-Bc Project [H] EU

Unfazed

Legend
Combined - Combined - Spinebreaker - WowStead

I'm Kayula, an Officer from Combined,

the latest, and most promising looking pre-tbc project.

Let me start with explaining something about our project.

After seeing many guilds struggle to keep members showing up for raids,

a few people took the initiative to contact all the guild masters and officers from Europe’s leading pre-tbc guilds,

such as Enigmatic, Time Machine, Blood Guard, Carebears of Doom, OMG One Man Guild OMG but what about?

A merge, some might think, this has been done before. And that’s true, but never on a scale like this.

After having a debate for a few days, most guilds decided, it was time to let vanilla shine once again.

A lot of guild masters, officers and members brought their heads, and body together, on one realm, Spinebreaker.

It's been a few days now, since we started to get the project rolling, and it's looking promising.

We already have crowded guild, and not just during prime-time.

That’s some of our history, but i'll not bore you further but come down to the real stuff.

We have a core, we are more or less ready to start Molten Core and venture onwards.

But we want more, pre-tbc was about getting those 40 people into a raid, and that’s what we're after,

that feeling we had "back then".

While we aren't raiding we do premade battlegrounds which is fun during the day while waiting for raids at night.

Does this seem interesting to you? do you want to be a part of this project?

That’s possible, but please do read our rules also though, so we know we're on the same page.

Which brings me to the boring but, important part of this post, our guild rules:

-The 31 point talent spec, the reason for this is pretty obvious, it’s what we used to have available.

-Pre-tbc enchants only, tbc/wotlk enchants aren’t allowed in raids, at all.

-Pre-tbc consumables, another one of those rules that don’t need explanation, since it's obvious.

-No Death Knight, Paladins, and Blood Elves, for those that wonder why no Paladins, they didn't exist pre-tbc, on

horde side.

-Boosting is NOT allowed in MC/AQ/BWL/ZG. Pugging is also NOT allowed.

Outside of raids you can use your best equipment/talent points for pvp or farming.

If any of these rules don’t match with you, you're probably better of not applying, as we live to them, strongly.

If you do like these rules, leave a application at Combined - Spinebreaker - WowStead, and we, the officers and guild master,

will get right back to you!

The classes that we are currently recruiting are:

Warriors - Closed

Shamans - Healers/Dps - Medium Priority

Hunters - High Priority

Priests - Healers/Dps - High Priority

Mages - High Priority

Druids - Healers/Dps - Medium Priority

Warlocks - High Priority

Rogue - High Priority

Meaning by this is that these are the classes required for raiding at the moment, we are still accepting all

classes for pvp and such but, for the moment this is what's needed to start raiding.

We require you to be an very active player as you will be needed in most raids all of the time so it is very vital

to be active, as this shows your seriousness and dedication towards being a member of Combined and playing a

classic guild.

Do not expect any epics as soon as you join the guild as you will be required to use DKP for the items you

need, which will require high attendance.

The following will be expected to become a member of Combined:

-You are able to attend at least two of our raids a week, this is required, if you are unable to do this then this

isn't the guild for you.

-You have ventrillo and have a basic understanding of how to use it.

-You are at the age of 16+

-You are able to communicate using English so that we understand it.

-You are able to behave in the guild and especially raids

-You have some or full experience of the character that you are playing

-You are able to finish a raid and not leave halfway through

-You are not a drama queen nor a loot ***@!.

-You are expected to know the different boss encounters by heart and being able to adapt to any unknown situation

that might occur. Reading up on bossfights or watching killmovies on encounters you are unsure about helps a lot.

Raiding Days/Times:

We are a very active raiding guild, we raid up to 4 times per week. We know that not everyone will be able to raid

on all of the 4 days so we at least expect you to be able to at least attend 2 times a week. The most vital thing

is to always attend to raids if you have signed up, as this causes us not to be a full raid with alot of annoyed

officers!

The raiding days are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday

All the raids start at 19:00 and we expect that you should be able to raid untill 23:00.

During our raids we use our own 50 slot ventrillo server.

If you have anymore questions, feel free to give me or another member ingame a private message or mail.

Looking forward from hearing from you

Combined.

According to cyclone battlegroup (EU) you guys get boosted. GL HF

According to a well known troll named Strasz, he likes to post that around although we DONT get boosted, please don't come on this thread knowing that we get boosted because you don't and are listening to the cyclone battlegroup which is full of trolls.

There was proof of the boosting, it is a shame the posts were deleted. There was a screenshot posted on the cyclone forums with your guild leader Moomoomo admitting it and of course, the recent activity on armory showed your guild recieved loot from Ahn'qiraj even though you were still at the Zul'gurub stage.

Doesn't matter anyway since they get boosted.

The fact is trying to be "pre-TBC" doesn't mean much when all the talents have been shuffled around and made better.

I personally think it is cool as I enjoy the whole aspect of when the game was new, hard, and fun. But asking players to not use new talents is meh.

Hope you do well though! Maybe check out a private server as well.

I agree with talents being removed ,changed, etc better to have fun and enjoy the game before they take BWL/MC/AQ40 out in a few months.

<DIRTY> 60 guild US Mal'Ganis PvP or GTFO

DIRTY of Mal'Ganis

they are clearly getting boosted but its Zylvs that stands for that and only there lvl 80s that is not flagged with <Combined> can ask for boost in trade or else there half retarded guild leader moomo gonna start to cry since he is this epic lootwhore!

In order to have the 31 point talent spec, you need to only have vanilia WoW installed, and not TBC and WOTLK?

And is it possible to only have vanilia WoW installed, and join the XP BG's without gaining experince?

:afaik: even with only prebc all the talents will be updated, they dont phase stuff like that for each xpac; you just cant access bc and wotlk content. so you will just have to spec down to, say, MS and then stop (if you're a warrior) and go fury/prot. you can join the bgs and not get xp since you are level capped by the game and not paying to shut xp off. av will be 51-60 so that can be fun, but ab and wsg will be 60-69.
