Combat rogue any good?

I'd rather take beginner advice from a fat baseball coach on bodybuilding rather than an seasoned bodybuilder too.

Are you saying I'm fat? Dick. :/

edit: If you want I'll duel your sub rogue since we are on the same server. :S

no. what I'm saying is that modeling after/taking advice from others isn't bad.

Thats fine, but combat does more damage than sub. The only benefit to sub is waylay/Shadowstep, and if you're willing to pass up 2% hit in the combat tree, you get more damage and guarenteed 1.5 second silence every 10 seconds rather than just hopeing waylay procs.

you aren't gonna be doing more damage when you can't maintain ToT, that's for sure.

I was joking, I just wanted to see what you would say to that. lol

I have no problem staying on top of someone, I personaly have 16 stacks of speed pots sitting in my bags. When those are on CD I have sprint. ;D

lol'd hard

I'd also like to add that Waylay can be really useless when it decides to go on strike for a while. Because it's only procing on 60 energy yellows, this means you get two chances in the first two seconds, and one chance every six seconds thereafter. If the first three all don't proc - rare on a 50% chance, but I've had it happen to me often enough to turn me off to it - you're looking at 14 seconds from initiating combat to landing the snare. If it procs on the third, then it still took 8. Basically, it has to proc on either of the first two to be any real use; in a series, this is a 75% likelihood, but that 25% seems to rear it's ugly head much too often.

I want to like Sub, really, but getting SS crits that look about the same as my white hits just feels so wrong. If they could have found some answer to lowbie damage outside of making yellows feel trivial, I'd probably still be playing it.

i agree they should have kept SS at 100% weapon damage, its so pathetic right now. i have been using daggers lately just because i like the 260 backstab crits lol. going back to swords when i get my second SF though.

as a sub rogue just use double swords and if u really want a waylay proc shadowstep into backstab to slow down efc or his support in mid rogues are more utility i guarantee a sub rogue is more valuable to his team then a combat rogue
