Cloak Enchants?

What cloak enchant do you use now? and does resist still does something???

resist still works, full resisted a pyro with +15 fire rest chant

they are adding in + stats to cloak in mop

They're grandfathered. If you have it on your cloak, it still works. Otherwise, you cannot get it. I had a scroll with +5 all resist on it in my bags before the patch went live and when I logged on after the patch it was gone.

Of course...OF COURSE, I had every single +resist cloak enchant a 19 could want, I thought to myself day before pre patch, should I bother putting em on cloaks or just leave them on scrolls. no prizes for guessing which option I picked -,-

Lmao, same I had about 1500g of scrolls of resistance enchants and they all disapeared

I don't think it matters much, seeing as there isn't a certain type of magic school that's really OP (like explosive shot was in Cata). If you have +5 resistances you should be fine.

Most likely not. Resist gear is still in the game.

I think it's all still in the game, but no longer dropping. I.e the resist rings, I doubt they drop anymore, but they are still in the game. This is called grandfathering sneaky.

But Keeshan's Bandana isn't a drop. It's a quest item and in order to grandfather it they'd have to change an entire region's questline. Thus, it is probably still obtainable since they haven't taken drastic measures on resist gear as of yet.

i had like 5 of each made the day before knowing they would be gfd, but i didn't think they were actually taking the scrolls out <.<

I just had a Zircon Band of Nature Resistance drop for me today, so they are not GF'd yet, at least.

Just checked my gbank, the slots that the resist to cape were in are now empty. In the log it also just shows "Has deposited x3", the item seems to have been removed from the game entirely, aside from the ones that are already on capes.

Actually stealth may be better since dodge now allows you to dodge spells and ranged attacks...

Aha, so my 85 no longer has Cloak Resistance formulas in his Enchanting menu. u.u'

Well. Guess that means +All Stats come MoP if I bother to get it.
