Meh theres diffrent styles of playing Druid, you don't have to be a copy cat in what others do.

I am a very firm believer in modifications of your character with gear, spec, looks, rotations, pets, etc.

While still being able to be competative with the "Best".

it's just better to control your pet completely. you're limiting yourself by putting pet on defensive or aggresive. you are not in full control of the pet and therefore it's not being controlled to its potential.

i'm just saying its a way that you can get better, albeit it's not a huge deal. so yes you can still 'compete' with the best, but you won't be THE best.

and trust me, you would not be being a copycat, lol. most hunters have pets on aggressive

Lol I never use aggressive, well..almost never.

I would say 10% passive, 85% defensive, 5% aggressive.

The reason I beg to differ is that if my pet is in the heat of battle, hes near the front lines, so I can switch targets at will. I dont think you quite understand that I can control my pet at will, while giving it freedom.

My pet is always productive as if it makes a mistake or I wish to switch targets...it takes all of a split second.

well say i'm running to get the flag, and some rogue uses a throwing weapon on me with pet on defensive. my pet will go over and attack the rogue that i didn't want it to attack. then, i go up the ramp and encounter some hunter. now my pet is somewhere behind me and i'm being ambushed by a hunter.

just food for thought

in my case, even when i didn't had a mouse i had to click at some abilities because it's imposible to put keys for everyone

for exemple i have AGM, Last Stand... and some engineering stuff so ... if i don t have a 300 buttons console i really can't play a twink without clicking some sheet.

i actually use wasd but i use qe which are strafes! it's very usefull to use strafe in wow... for exemple, in AB there are some fences in LM after you respwan where if you don't use strafe it's almost imposible to jump over that fence and take that berseker stuff...

i have a friend who has a 39 warr twink and had q and e set for overpower - q and e ... heroic strike or something... well it was just confusing when i was playing his twink...

i personaly put my heroic strike somewhere at 2 or something... or i don t put it anywhere because i don t use it

i put my overpower at 9 or somthing , here , near tast 9870 i put all my good abilities, because my fingers will always stay on wasd and the other hand stay near 0987 (7 is always for charge). When i fight a rogue or mage i just super press all those buttons in the same time because sometimes overpower comes and i miss it, this way i never miss it and i hit so fast that mages can t spell me...

after my laptop burned i end up using a lot more the mouse... having a very good gear was kinda lame so i didn't had to play so good... i was relaxed and i was clicking... but when i fight a very good twink, goodbye mouse... this is the only possible way to pwn him

you can put binds on shift+1-6 and ctrl+1-6 so you can bind alot of keys. i mean if you click last stand and AGM or w/e then it's not going to make much of a difference but it still is one.

there are some classes you simply cant play while clicking like a warrior, but if you found a way to play while clicking by all means do eeet up

I clicked as a warrior for years. Seemed to work ok. If you're fast with a mouse I doubt there's much difference. The only downside is if you post a video the comments will mostly consist of "zomg clicker!1".
