classic plus? real or fake? 4 chan leak looks interesting

all of these may sound good at first, but turned out to bring more negatives over time than good.
I will say the wbuff changes and everything so far in era has been awesome. you're the first person I've heard mention anything gamebreaking and terrible.

also summoning stones arent in it... just warlock summons, genuine question, are you actually playing era?

just came back to era. no summoning stones? great news.

wbuffs, sure that ones debatable, i'd say there are argument for both sides.

no wbuff competition basically means no pvp related to wbuffs. good for casuals that dont like being farmed, bad for pvpers that actually enjoy the feeling of "playing in an dangerous world of endless competition, every action you take is with risk, and others are able to ruin your work if you're not careful."

You probably just walking around questing and raiding once a week? wonder how u never heard of anything gamebreaking and terrible.. cuz i've only mentioned a handful.

I can dm you a list of gamebreaking bugs over the years, if you want.

only got 12 days played on my warrior, been raiding and pvping since i hit 60 and everyone/thing has been chill.

Rank 11 before the ranking changes.

Also there is still plenty of wbuff competition, a guildy of mine farms people daily out in felwood, BB, etc. there's plenty of risk. you just get to actually play the character rather than getting buffs and fucking logging off so your buffs dont run out. which is undoubtedly worse.

"game breaking" though I would consider like... a warrior does 0 damage to a rogue because they broke hit chance but only for warriors against rogues, or something along that line. intercept can be a little weird when I'm slowed but I believe if I jump it teles me to them rather than the slowmo run.

talking mostly higher level of pvp. As said earlier, not being able to cs after rocket helm, is a situation most casuals wouldn't experience. as soon you prem v prem its a different story. Same with combat not droping after vanish. (that bug is either still in, or only recently has been fixed). Just imagine this was retail arenas and u cant cc lock someone with ur most important spells, this would be considered "gamebreaking" and there'd be 10+ vids up by random youtubers talking about it after 1day

resist values being broken. i give you an example:
(not my vid, short from streamer called perplexity)

thats not just "being orc'd" it happens way too much. Most of these came after SoM update (which now is used on era).

thats all just from the top of my head atm, only things that i've experienced (only played rogue).. there's more broken stuff for other classes, i can send u a list tomorrow. 3am here in germany, imma sleep soon ;)

can confirm this general sentiment.
i haven't the slightest in vanilla but know quite a bit about wotlk and lets just say, classic is a crude approximation at best (beyond their intentional™ changes™).
in fact, there's better pservers out there that are more faithful than classic are.

as for gamebreaking bugs, they're far too myriad but as a prime example, they've had the fucking polearm titansgrip glitch for the entirety of t7 (that's a 2013-vintage trinitycore bug so :KEKW:)
bugs happen but a fairly egregious one like that remaining unpatched for several months is just a meme at this point.

Solid example, thought you were talking like, elemental resists in which I think have been fine? and I agree that's fucked.

polearm titansgrip glitch
is this the thing where Wars cant use polearms with TG? I thought this was like that back in OG Wrath? like that rings a heavy bell for my broken ass brain.

c’est la blizz. at this point.

no, you were able to dualwield polearms for the entirety of t7 :KEKW:
(but only mh was useful, polearms in the oh did no damage at all)
