Classes Less Seen at 70

Ay! So I was just wondering if I could get some feed back on which classes/specs people see the least of in the twinking bracket. And if you could justify it with a reason or 2 that would be great.

Personally I almost never see Boomkin or Ele Shammy. I recently saw and fought a couple of Boomkins. It seems that if you kite, and are ok with being on the run for 90% of the fight, Boomkin can be very viable. However they do die very easily when locked down. Can anyone give me some info on Ele Shammy?

Also, don't forget to mention the ones you don't see.
 
seen a bunch of ele shammy's farming flag in EoTS just knocking kids off left and right. it was funny
 
Yeah, that makes sense. lol I've seen a lot doign at lower lvls. Bot ele shammy must live for EoS Weekend :D
 
I have Not "scene" enough Mages or Paladins
 
Elemental Shamans are basically like Arcane Mages when it comes to damage. As soon as they get good pve/bis gear, they start doing extremely overpowered DPS. The only reason we don't see any is because every body is too caught up in jesusmoderesto. Believe me though, once people start to realize how absurd their damage is we're going to be seeing a lot more. People aren't even aware how overpowered Arcane damage really is because we see FotM Frost Mages EVERY WHERE. Let me put it into perspective for you - you know those Resto Shamans that get 750 resil and tank 3-5 people at once? Yeah, I literally faceroll them as Arcane because of my pve gear. It's my favorite thing to do as Arcane - just find resil stacked healers in BGs and roll them; you can almost see the astonishment on the players face. They're buffing Arcane too.....



Boomkin is just in terrible shape at the moment in my opinion. You are locked down so easily so you need tons of resil to stay alive, because of this you are not able to be as flexible with gems as every body else. Starsurge still hits really hard, especially if you crit but that's being nerfed next patch. You won't go oom spamming Moonfire or Lifebloom but Moonfire does such mediocre damage and if you're going to just hop around and spam Lifebloom you might as well go Resto.
 
Oh my, where can i start..

Frost mages doing 3k - 6k icelances, 3k frostbolts. A fully geared bis mage can beat you down in one deepfreeze, with 30% damage reduce.

2v2 arena is HELL. If you meet a disc priest, frost mage team and they know what they're doing. - Your fucked.

Shadowpriests do some pretty good damage. R1 is 2 shadowpriests on my realm.



Priest shield is 7k damage, absorb i think.

fyi. as soon as a melee sits on elemental shaman you might aswell just afk and die, only time you will do damage is when they dont focus you and/or healers dont spam dispel your flame shock

You know I seem to be hearing that argument a lot about ele shammy. No survivability, no maneuverability. But we we talking against like some rouge's burst? Or other melee classes? I'm just gear and theory crafting at this point, but I feel like I could kite well enough to make ele shammy viable :/ Ive seen a few in duels, they always lose to rogue but they seem to hold their own in 1v1, I havent seen much in 2v2 :D

plus the fact my cleanse waters heals for like 3k

You just have to see it for yourself I guess. Not much people can do when I get 3 ~7k-8k Arcane Blast crits in a row while their stunned/silenced. There's a Holy Paladin in our guild with 832 resil in one of his sets and I can still kill him effortlessly in a poly stun + blanket CS just because Arcane Blast hits so frickin' hard. lololol I don't even have to Spellsteal, I can just sit there and tunnel vision Arcane Blast. :O



I have 40% haste, 36% crit, and 1362 spellpower self buffed with my Arcane stuff on and my gemming/gearing still isn't even completely done yet. :O

On an off topic note you should totally write up a Chardev of your arcane set. I've been wanting to try arcane, but I don't really know where to start.

Poly stun COULD be trinketed.

During a blanket CS your very first AB/w.e will hit in the grounding totem+stoneclaw totem absorb
