Character Tranfer and Faction Change for F2Ps

The topic came up while chatting and I was wondering what your thoughts on this topic are!
Anyone else here who'd consider to pay for that?
How can we make Blizz aware of this market, since the original idea of trial accounts to get a first view of the game got a new twinking dimension?
I can only speak for me, but I'd do it.

Dang, it seems so obvious, now that you said it; I had been using the Konami code, to no avail.


As far as f2p name changes go*:

Step 1: Always name your characters something at least borderline offensive.

Step 2: When you want to change your name, report your own name for being offensive from different accounts.

Step 3: Profit

I saved for 2 months for 2x faction change, and I was devastated when I heard its impossible. Faction change become my obsession - I wanted to change to blood elf from Draenei, get shield ench, boots of the hero, 2nd argas, and that scrap shield for looks. Whenever I asked GMs about anything, at the end I added question about paid services, every time response was no. One time I ticketed only about this thing, and in live chat GM told me that his thoughts are that blizzard wants to get stabile payment from paid acc, rather than single payment, but said its not official statement, but his own thoughts. My another obsession is realm change from EU magtheridon to US Aerie Peak, but I've heard that EU->US isn't available even for p2p, so I am sad.

It was possible to do in the beginning of Pandaria with pandas only, and you bugged out from the questing area.

Pretty OT, but: When I first started playing and thought I'd eventually subscribe I thought you could faction change w/o race change. I wanted to stay a blood elf, but be alliance.

Yeah, it would be cool if blizz allowed faction/realm changes to f2ps. But it would cause realm-hopping madness. There would be people who'd end up paying hundreds-thousands in order to get LFH, AGM, etc.

It was more of the fact that you and IAT are the only ones who really cared enough to do it. You chose to do it because you come from a bracket where GFed gear is everything, and you knew it would be GFed sooner rather then later.

IAT, on the other hand, only saw money signs. The moment he got some faction specific items on the opposite faction, he tossed a thread up about selling that account, which to my knowledge, still hasn't sold.

Blizzard is in the money making business. I don't know why
things like faction/race change are not possible for f2p. I mean if Bliz is gonna allow indefinate trial they may as well make 25 or 30 dollars off us geeks. I would pay for my f2p to faction change~Lord knows I have paid a lot for my p2ps to faction change.
