Changes concerning lvl 1s in 3.3

miss chances are too high to do "constant high dps" on anything past level 18 (20% miss chance if your hit enchanted...with the exception of holiday food buffs...) ... if your doing more than two manning threat becomes even a bigger issue...



pallys don't miss with their heals which generate more threat than a missed hit HS...I know a lot of guys that are running 5-6 lvl1's killin lvl18-20 mobs ... big deal imo...



for long fights pally threat will win
 
Yupp. In bog's video where they kill the 'mini KT", u see rosk missing and getting dodged and parried a TON. And notice, bog doesnt heal rosk to full constantly. I don't think i ever noticed Bog going below 50% mana, but i could be wrong. Point is, if you 2 man something, threat is a lot easier to deal with. You see it again in their 'mini ony' video as well. The healer has to watch their heal-generated threat, and a priest having faster, almost as powerful heals as a pally makes them better, i would think, than a pally healer. Same with shaman healers, though i don't think i would mix roles DURING a fight as someone on the last page suggested. Having a shaman being ABLE to fulfill 2 roles is great, but not DURING a fight, for the reason chubs/bog/whoever suggested: once your healer starts to dps, you cant eat/regen quickly if you DO go OOM. If yur not in combat, yur fine. and by in-combat, we of course mean not attacking the mob and going permanently on the aggro/threat-table of the mob.

also healadin are good tanks, what you're saying about threat is wrong. Healign is the best source for threat, the higher lvl the mob is, the better is a healtank over a rogue tanking.



Ifyou watch the Luzran video you saw that I had to offtank with Bøgadin. I was slowly getting more and more threat and at one point Røsk couldn't hold it anymore. That's when we made sure Røsk was low on hp, say 300-500 and he would 1st aid up while I had agro and BAM he has threat like hell and we'd do that throughout the fight.
 
wait, explain level 1 threat to me then, I guess im applying end-game thinking here. I know that healers generate threat, but i didn't realize they generated THAT MUCH at level 1. So, if you got time, can you make a thread or reply in here explaining level 1 threat? Cause if i got it all wrong, i wanna know whats right.
 
I got no numbers. But if you want a rogue to just hit a mob and forget about the FA/LB self heals shit the healer will eventually agro. Røsk doesn't use lifeblood and FA for heals, its mainly for threat. When we're 2 manning.



EDIT: Healtanks works very good. Tanked Taskmaster Fizzule from 7,6k til 499 hp. Took about 10min
 
even in endgame their threat is ridiculous. ask my tree healer about it sometime. when i'm picking up adds on ToGC Anub ... we've missed 50 attempts/no deaths a couple of weeks because his heal threat > my SS/TC combo



so to answer my original question:



would you consider dropping Mp5 on shield for 9 sta or furbolg Healidin tanking?
 
since we're level 1 and we are pwn. I'm fairly certain its a vanilla enchant, therefore = we can use.
 
Don't know if someone already posted but no more raids under level 10.

I'm too new round here to know exactly what degree and severity of insult are acceptable.. But Rayu... dude (or dudette).. that's like asking someone in rehab whether they'd like a toke on your crack pipe.

What Stabbed says is truth! Comments like Rayu's got me back into the game...and I can't beat the addiction twice.
 
i only left because i switched to guild wars (had no money for awhile). I basically switched one addiction for another. And yet i still came back to wow. And now i got 2 more people at work rolling, as well as my parents :D





Edit: To stay on topic, does anyone have a rough idea of when 3.3 is going to be released? cuz i want an OP shammy pl0x.

Tho i do agree itll probably be dec/january, given that their releasing the patch, or parts of it, already.

I didn't offer him a game card... nor do I think he was/is addicted to the game. Was only wondering because he does still seem interested in WoW or he wouldn't be on here posting.
