Cata = end of 60 twinking? Discuss

Ok and? There's such a small pool of truthful posts in this forum that one that is wrong does not make a difference. And all i said is that is what i've heard people saying.

that is THE worst logic i've ever heard. and not even true of TI, the majority of posts are by knowledgeable people......what a weak defense.

I can safely say (having checked in Cata Beta) that they're still there. No word on if they'll be phased out, I doubt it but be ready to have 70-80 alts to keep around for it.
 
delete that dudes post saying stuff will be grandfathered then?
 
I was getting real pumped up to make a lv 60 prot warrior twink. However, without Shockwave available I'm not sure if the plans will go as I wanted them to. Thinking it would be better to upgrade my vanilla account to BC and continue all my future lv 60 twinking at lv 70 instead.

Hell I inspred a blue post with a question regarding this including a green post and they have already stated that no changes are being made to classic raids this time around.

I am not going to dig up the posts but the amount of people who think rumors mean facts in these forums is astonishing.



They even said they will see what happens to the thunderfury quest line due to the changes in silithus, but they also mentioned that the changes to silithus will be the only changes that have any effect on classic content for what we are concerned about (aka thunderfury). What is funny though is their is a new feat of strength/achieve that you get for collecting legendaries coming out and thunderfury is on the list. I cant remember the name of it but the second half ot the achievement title says (yes even thunderfury!). Got a video froma beta player that shows the achievement on my mains guild site.



It is pretty safe to say all this cata is going to ruin 60 twinking is nothing more than random speculation by some 12 y/o kid that got blown out of proportion.
 
pretty sure that feat of strength is bullshit. that or blizz sucks. since a) one isnt obtainable anymore and b) not all classes can get all legendaries

leaning towards blizz sucks, but i just doubt they would make that feat of strength



tf wasnt even the hardest legendary to obtain, just annoying to get bindings (which was also joked about in that achieve pic i saw, but i still think its bs)

It would be funny if it was a joke achieve. But none the less the 60 community at the least only needs to LRN2PLAY their classes all over again come cata and adjust to some of the talent tree changes.

I still have never seen a binding drop though. I have a friend who has the weapon and I helped him with the thunderan kill to finish the quest line but that was it. I am happy with my hand of rag though. took only 3 kills to get the EYE and i tried to tough it out farming the mats but eventually just bought them all. When I arena though I use the GM Battle hammer for the stam and crit. I use hand of rag for duels and showing off in raids.



working on T2.5 right now and might turn my D1 set to D2. Need to start farming for this rogue so I can have full T2.5 death's sting.

TF isn't super insain anyways, only BiS for Prot Wars.

Then again, Prot Wars don't have many other good weapons for PvP so they're kinda nerfed IF TF is out of the pic.
 
which it isnt, and there are still good one handers to be found for pve and pvp
